Will betray mages in a heartbeat if a templar elf that looks like Athenril is a companion.
Sorry mages, you cannot top that.

I would like to see Elven Templars.
Templars can have rogue's in their ranks
I know, but I didn't see any signs of insignia or anything like that, so I'm assuming she's a rogue like Varric is: Beholden to no one but the Inquisitor.
Small orbs of concentrated wind energy impacting my chest tend to do horrible things to the Chakra receivers...makes it a **** to maintain connection with them.
Corpses cannot die, but the displacement/destruction of the rods is an annoyance to be sure.
The Rasengan is not wind chakra; it's pure concentrated chakra being given a form.
The Fuuton:RasenShuriken is what happens when you add Wind Chakra to it.
I'd love to see Elven (Or Dwarven!) Templars, but I kinda imagine that some elves (especially Dalish) would view Elven Templars as the ultimate provokation to their original magical nature.
Note to self: Make Elven Templar character in DAI.

That's not even your real body. It shouldn't effect anything.

Be interesting considering the Elf Inquisitor is Dalish.

Now there's a RP'ing challenge! ![]()

A non-Dalish Dalish elf, I take it?
I wonder how differently Asunder would be if Evangeline de Brassard was an elf, as originally planned.
No, since we don't have the option to not play as a Dalish.
The only difference really would be that Rhys' lover is an elf instead of a human.
Why bother? Fenris was pretty much that.
Why bother? Fenris was pretty much that.
Because we wanna see an actual Elven Templar ![]()
Now there's a RP'ing challenge!
Pfft that's nothing for Hardcore OG RPG Sylvius ![]()
Why bother? Fenris was pretty much that.
No no no!
An Elven Templar with the face of Athenril and the build of Isabela.
How can you turn down a dame like that?
Why bother? Fenris was pretty much that.
Why bother making anything at all? Why should I even buy this game? DA:O and DA ][ were pretty much this.

I actually suspected that was the very reason why she was changed into a human.
Marics two lovers were elven, one in each book. Time to break the norm of what the protag got in the sack! ^^

Why bother playing medieval rpgs? Every other rpg under the sun were pretty much this.

With a Fist of the Maker, I think.
Now there's a RP'ing challenge!
"Keeper, I have decided to become a templar. You will be my first apostate prisoner."
Awkward to say the least.
Elves are second class citizens aren't they? Hell, you could argue elves are even lower on the totem pole than mages are.
Looking at real life history, African Americans were second class citizens until the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s... they weren't allowed to serve with white soldiers. Japanese and Chinese Americans were also segregated into their own military units in WWII.

Dragon Age doesn't really totally follow real world events to the point. Besides, black people served in mercenary armies in medieval mediterranean europe.
We already know Elven Soldiers exist, why not elven Templars?
Can someone clarify something please? When the warden is communicating with the gem/arcane warrior spirit, it mentions that arcane warriors were used to defend their "charges". Who were the charges and was this a form of elven templar but without the whole Chantry thing? If this is so, then maybe the Dalish had a type of templar equivalent already who were not the Emerald knights.
I assumed the charges of the Arcane Warrior were the inhabitants of the place that was destroyed. The Arcane Warrior art was lost with the civilization of Arlathan so the Dales probably wouldn't have had any.
