Ahem, elves cannot have the build of Isabela, it's against the laws of physics.
I want a girl with extensions in her hair. Bamboo earings, at least two pair.

As much as I dislike elves, I would pay good money for an elf Templar Paladin.
Who knows, maybe an elven Templar can change my viewpoint concerning city elves.
What's your current view, dare I ask?
Hmm well
Majorish spoiler for Masked Empire
so what is an elvish templar

But all that aside we know that elves are able to serve in the military and even in Orlais rise to the point where they have servants of their own, I don't find it hard to believe or even accept the existence of Elvish Templars.
I could even conceivably come up with a situation where a dalish would become one- His/her clan's Keep became an abomination and wiped out everyone in the clan except him/her. While unlikely, I could still see such a person being so scarred by the experience that they would grab onto the Templars as a way to bring sanity back to their world.
What's your current view, dare I ask?
Distaste, before I met Zev; hate.

I was hoping more in the terms of why, but whatever. Most likely it will be bigoted reasons that I disagree with so I'm not going to bother asking further and causing a potential problem.

I agree, Elven Templars can and probably have happened.

They attacked Missionaries and Templars, and attempted to annex a human kingdom.

That's Dalish, not City Elves.
They were ALL Dalish before humanity crippled them.

Kicking out missionaries from their sovereign kindgom because they weren't interested in converting to the human religion isn't the same as attacking them.
Ah. I recognize these people. These are people who their favorite puny human protagonist or character was owned by Elves in other series and they are here for payback. Meh. I personally couldn't care less about race in games. Their mind and how the use them is what I care about.
Damn Shemlen, takes their immortality, takes their gods, takes their lives.
They were ALL Dalish before humanity crippled them.
So you judge people because of their ancestors? What about humans then? They've done bad things in Thedas as well. Do you have distaste or hate for all humans as well?

So you are saying the Dalish practiced the same religious intolerance as the Chantry and the dwarves? Got it. Not saying anything wrong with it. Its fits the time period and was a conclusion I had drawn as well.

While I agree with you on the care less about races thing, what series are you referring to? I can't remember a series off the top of my head where the elves owned the humans?

I didn't realize refusing to capitulate to conversion to the Chantry of Andraste and being invaded by templars and humans who wanted to force the issue was a sign of intolerance. The elves were under no obligation to convert.

Missionaries don't want to force it on others. They just want to spread it for those who are willing to listen.

Human is my species so no and I support human expansionism and the Templar Order.

Whatever you say Dalish fanboy, whatever you say.

My Nord and Imperial crushed any Elf he came across.
Ball's in your court.

A missionary is basically someone who walks around sharing their faith with people and doing good things to help others. They aren't converting by the sword. Also, if there are dwarves in Orzammar willing to convert to the Chantry, you can't really argue there were no elves in the Dales who might have been interested in hearing what the missionaries had to say. Especially considering Andraste was associated with their freedom.
Again, I think it fits the setting and the game for the Dalish to be as intollerant of other religions as All the other religions are.

So you whitewash your races' sins and judge the other races on the sins of their ancestors. Like I said, I knew they'd be bigoted reasons.
Not saying you're a bigot in real life, just in the game world.

The move followed by kicking out missionaries was sending in armed and armored soldiers into foreign territory.

Your races'? You're human too dull stone.
Regardless I still support human expansionism, but it would be nice to get an elven Templar's view of things.

No no no! Those weren't soldiers, simply Templar recruiters with the elves best interests at heart.
