Here's my supermix of "Suicide Mission", ME2's iconic signature music track, created solely by in-game music files that have several different versions of the score.

I've made a couple of these before, with "Vigil" and "Virmire Assault", but I'm trying to make one with strictly ME3 music. Some feedback would be appreciated, and you can either listen to it by clicking the PLAY button on the track's page, or download it at 320kbps MP3 ;)

It's 14 minutes long!

This is my Kasumi edit. normally I'd let it build up, but in this case starting with the combat theme was a better decision. then it transitions into the "tension" variation and then after the 5 minute mark it slows down to the classic Kasumi theme. once again, you can either listen to it or download it.

fast, hard-hitting and a good blend of orchestral & electronic sound. very Kasumi! awesome music for melee sparring or kickboxing lessons.

This is awesome. Thanks for creating this.

Makes me wonder why the ground assault on Earth never had any epic music.

I happen to really like the Earth music. It's generally various adjustments to the same music that plays way back during the prologue when you're fighting alongside Anderson, but it's one of my favorite tracks in ME3 for sure. Best combat music, beats out even Mars (I wish there were more combat tracks like that Mars synth one, seriously) and it lends itself well to a lot of scenes.

maybe it has something to do with ME3 being rushed, but I find most of its exclusive music forgettable. and much of the score is from the first 2 games anyway. the battle music in most Cerberus missions is from Overlord. it's a shame ME3 doesn't have its own signature track.

ME1 has Vigil, ME2 has "Suicide Mission" (maaaad props to myself) and the Collectors variation, ME3 got nothing. I like the ME3 Omega music, fits Aria nicely, but I think the Arrival & Kasumi loyalty scores have it beat. Kasumi's battle in particular sounds pretty badass.

Kasumi's edit now included in the starting post.

I just finished listening to it, really enjoyed it , good job =)

And regarding ME3 music, i have to agree that it´s lacking a strong battle theme like "suicide mission".

I do think that it has good tracks, "leaving earth" and "an end once and for all" are amazing tracks, but "suicide mission" really gets u pumped for battle, it´s a great motivational song.

hmm I might as well include my edit of it. normally I'd let it build up, but in this case starting with the combat theme was a better decision. then it transitions into the "tension" variation and then after the 5 minute mark it slows down to the classic Kasumi theme. once again, you can either listen to it or download it.

I agree with that aside from maybe leaving earth, there really is no signature tracks. Also don't forget the battle music from the shadow broker dlc. I can't count how many times I heard it during ME3. It's a great track. but come on. lol

Also another quality edit. Would be interested to see what you might be able to do with the overlord theme ;)

I strongly disagree that ME3 got nothing. It actually has my favorite OST of the trilogy. "Leaving Earth" and "An End, Once and For All [Extended]" are terrific and I prefer them head-and-shoulders over "Vigil" and "Suicide Mission"; the only things either of the previous games have that I enjoy more than anything ME3 offered are ME1's credits theme, "m4 Part II" by Faunts and ME2's "Overlord" combat music, which thankfully seeped heavily into ME3.

Weird. The only OST I think is lacking in atmospheric value is ME2's vanilla. It has some standouts like Suicide Mission/End Run and no track is bad or anything but it's all a bit overly bombastic and battle-obsessive.

ME2 is far more action-oriented than ME1, so a change in music was par for the course. ME1 score is more ambient than action, even in combat.

Revan, I have already ripped all of the ME2 DLC music and I'm currently going through Overlord. it only has 2 combat tracks, a couple ambient ones and the rest of the files are cinematic sound effects.

sad to say Zaeed is lacking a signature track, all of the music of his loyalty mission is borrowed from other vanilla loyalty missions. Thane's particularly.
