Guy was a dumb ass. If he would have just stopped the moose and calves would very likely have wandered off into the bush sooner than later instead of him in effect putting the run on them.

You've got a point and my personal experience with moose certainly bears that out. But this did look like unusual behavior for a mama moose. Instead of heading into the concealment of the bush, she appeared to be rather insistent about lingering out on the road. Not a very bright moose and I can't ever recall seeing a female moose with young try to usurp the road like that. I don't feel the driver was overly pushy IMHO.Guy was a dumb ass. Funny, but would be funnier if it wasn't true.
Now if burritos were like Ubisoft games, they'd tell you they didn't cut the meat filling with pink slime to save money, they did it because they need the pink slime to stay true to their artistic vision.
