Yeah, I'm actually kind of excited for this though, Captain America was a surprisingly not lame movie.
I can't help but wonder if the first movie would have been as decent as it was if they were not building up to Avengers?

I saw it yesterday.
I enjoyed it, though I would have liked it more if there was less shaky cam during the fight scenes and the villains had some personality *cough Winter Soldier cough* But other than that, a solid 8/10
And the mid-credit scene made me very happy.
One advice: watch it in 2D. I was forced to watch in 3D, and it added nothing to the movie. If anything it made some the action scenes harder to watch.
3D is like renter's insurance: Pointless and annoying, nothing more than a $ grab

Pretty much. Never understood the hype myself. It's never added anything to any movie I've seen. 3d is fun in those theme park shows that last for 15 minutes and have air blow in your face and stuff like that. But it doen't add anything to a regualr film.

Oh but it does.
It adds 3 bucks onto the ticket price ![]()
This is getting pretty good reviews, which doesn't mean that much. I just can't afford to see a bad movie.

Okay, it doesn't add anything good or worthwhile to the experiance.
I still can't belive they got Robert fricken Redford to be in it. Just wow.

Will probably go watch it next week. Can't wait to see Captain Murica again! ![]()
Hopefully this one won't dissapoint like Iron Man 3 did ![]()
I beg to differ. Avatar and Gravity were amazing in 3D.
Those are the exact two movies that come to my mind when I try to think of cinema experiences that were actually enhanced by 3D. There were other movies that weren't neccessarily worse because of the addition of 3D, but there are very, very few that 3D does make better.
Certainly not Cap 2.
Really enjoyed the film despite not jumping into the hype train.

I seriously want to see this. April 4th can't come quicker...
I still can't believe they got Anthony Hopkins to play Odin. Twice!
Marvel/Disney is making cinematic history with these movies. They are succeeding at something that has never been done before - fully functional cinematic universe where multiple franchises can interact with each other and influence one common, shared world. Top that off with the fact that the movies are well produced and huge money makers and it becomes pretty clear why they can pull some AAA level talent... but it still is incredibly awesome to keep on seeing, nonetheless.
TBH I think Redford was better utilized than the other veteran actors.

Interesting.

(Just messing with you.)
Galatic Runner you are my hero
Why do a lot of people say the first one wasn't good? I give it 8/10. Iron Man 3 as well? I give that 8.5-9/10!
This one... 10/10.
