Hi all,
I have a problem with lights when I'm in game.
I created a quite large castle (interior) and i put in many plc and lights (only one ambient and many probes static and animated) following tutorials. Many time all goes well, no warning on editor and good lights in game.
Last time i add another room and other lights (no error or warning in rendering and exporting) but when i start the game all lights was disappeared.
Could someone help me?
PS: now I installed EclipseRay 1.2 just to try, but untill now i used 1.1
PPS: my caracter was always without lights, all black. Also when lights initially goes well.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english

You need to add a Light Probe to the room and render it (I think you need to generate pathfinding first, too) to get light to display on your character properly.
Not sure why all of your lights would have disappeared by adding a new room. Are you sure you didn't accidentally move the lights from one Room to another in the left-hand panel? Its important that lights are attached to their corresponding room.

with the light probe in your level you have to post it to local from single player module to appear properly. you should also check if your lights affect characters.
you sure refreshed and exported your area after changing the level file? if so, then hopefully only your lights are not attached right to the rooms. right now i can't mind something else.

Thanks for reply!
I checked lights positions but are always in same place... just to resume:
1) i created rooms and corridors and lights then i tested in game: no problem, all goes well
2) add other room and lights and tested :all goes well
3) add other room and lights, always with same procedures but in game there wasn't lights
4) I checked operations and position but i can't find anithing wrong
When i say 'rooms' i mean a physical room... sorry is difficoult to explain... in left panel I have only one room directory that contain all things (walls of my rooms).
When you say that lights must be attached to room you mean that lights must be in directory of the room? If so, my lights are on directory of the room.
There is some limit (dimension, number of lights, etc...) on area editing? May be?

Yes, that's what I mean. The lights need to be in the same Room directory with the models you want them to light up.
So, essentially you're just adding more pieces to the room and all of a sudden lights stop working?
Is there something special/weird you're adding which might be causing this?

"So, essentially you're just adding more pieces to the room and all of a sudden lights stop working?"
yes, and i have no warning or error message when rendering
"Is there something special/weird you're adding which might be causing this?"
Nothing special i think, some walls (like cathedral walls) and some artifact (big standing armoire); all that i add coming from original toolset, nothing custom

Probably i found the problem...
I started to delete one by one last things added and i found something named el_...something..._day when i delete this, all lights (in editor) become more bright. Probably something that i lost in creation, now i re-render and re-test...

Ok the problem was the object ...something_day (surely a light effect). Thanks for help!! I have another question... if i could...
is there a method to set the external ambient in interior editing? I explain:
between walls and floor (also if i use snap mode) remain some blue bright lines, if i could set external ambient to night or black i eliminate lines in game. Is it possible?

i don't think so. try to cover those spots with blackbox models. they're all named blk. outside you should place a wall of these models all around your indoor level.
