Who, "Mr. Mustache?"  Perhaps, but I don't see him as a companion.  I think that the Beared Warden ("Hot Daddy Grey Warden" will always be my favorite) is our companion that links the story to the Grey Wardens.

I rather hope he is. The alternative would likely be Cullen, and I can't seem to ignore the fact that he feels a little overused, so to say.

I like Vivienne, Cassandra, and Varric but I want some new reveals! Sera, The Grey Warden, the Bald elf, The Iron Bull, the last two other companions?!

The last two unknown companions will likely remain unknown until release day.

 

Everyone else (including the three already known, Blonde Elf Girl, Bald Elf Dude, Grey Warden, and Iron Bull) will likely be revealed.

 

So a reveal each month (March - Vivienne, April, May, June, July, August, September) until October, when the game will most likely release.

 

We should place bets on the order of the reveals.

If I'm being honest, Sera seems like the least interesting, most trodden character out of the lineup. I'll definitely wait for more info, since there's hardly any so far. That's just my first impression, I'm not set on it. I really have to wonder if people don't really think she's the "most attractive" when they say she seems "interesting", though. I realize I could just be missing what they see in her, but she seems to me like a big retread of Isabela and Zevran. Her background doesn't seem like something that has much to offer on the perspective of the world. I don't know, I just don't get the appeal on what we have to go off.

I think it will be either Sera or Iron Bull. We might have seen more of Solas so far, but I doubt they'll show the two mages in a row... only if there's a secret third one maybe. I also have the feeling it won't be the Warden, his backstory seems to be the most interesting right now so they'll probably save him for later.

There's still Friday. Though her Monday blog entry is more or less the same way they announced DA2 companions, so I wouldn't expect something big in that department.

Unlikely. Bioware have revealed two companions after a long time. Do you think that they show someone new in this short period of time?

Its more likely that they bring more about Solas and Iron Bull.

Solas is unrealistic because he is another mage after Vivienne.

Therefore the April Follower Friday companion is Iron Bull!!!

I don't know.  The single word that I think of when I think of Sera is "brat".  We don't really know much more than that, besides that she's connected to the underworld and a "rob from the rich and give to herself" gal.  Outside of connections to the underworld, I'm not really reading much that seems similar between her and either Zevran OR Isabela.  She sounds pretty unique to me.

I don't see why Solas being revealed next would be a problem.

 

They're not revealing Cassandra and Varric because we already know a lot about them, so no matter who is next we get to the situation of 2 warriors or 2 rogues or 2 mages being revealed.

Also the reveals are about what kind of person a companion is, not what class they are.

Given the only real peace of art we have on her has her face distorted in a bizarre laugh complete with alien looking eyes, I'm not sure anyone's throwing the "more attractive" label on her, yet.

 

I also think thepeople interested in her don't see the "retread of Isabela and Zevran" to be a bad thing; Isabela and Zevran were two of the more popular companions. Seems a lot of people just like that kind of humor.

 

I'm taking a "wait and see" stance on her myself, as I think her character could be one of the most fun or one of the least interesting, with not a lot of middle ground.

Well, she's a blond, female elf and most of the characters released so far haven't been conventionally attractive. So, it's not that difficult for me to imagine. Especially if counting the shots speculated to also be a concept of her with the black mohawk/ponytail hairstyle, where she seems more conventionally attractive than in the drawing. 

 

I don't really doubt people just enjoy the humor. This is entirely my subjective opinion, I totally admit that. She doesn't seem interesting to ME based off the information that I have. I totally acknowledge what's interesting to me is not necessarily interesting to other people. Maybe my previous post came off too much as if I was presenting my opinion too objectively. It's totally fine if people like her because she's attractive, or because they think they'll enjoy her banter. I'm not knocking that, I'm totally fine with people liking characters for reasons that don't appeal to my personal taste.

 

All I really meant was that she doesn't seem "interesting" to me, personally. What I mostly find interesting is perspectives on the world that we haven't seen before. Character concepts that seemed interesting to me are like Iron Bull, as a Tal-Vashoth, Dorian, as a Tevinter that disagrees with slavery, Cole, as a fade creature not filtered through a possessed person. I like them because they're something I haven't seen before. This is obviously just my personal opinion, though, I'm not presenting it as anything more than that. 

 

I am definitely open to the possibility that there's more to her backstory than the outdated blurb I saw suggested. It's totally possible that she'll be much more interesting to me once we know more about her. This is definitely just a first impression that I'm not attached to for the long haul.

Two slots are left. I think there will be mr. Muthached and Cullen.
