I don't remember the article word for word but when it was decided the game release would not be pushed back they took a months break and someone spent that time on holiday with THEIR SON and when they returned to work starchild (a 6-7 year old boy) was born. I only remember this because I was keeping up with IT back then. It was used repeatedly as a link and a screen cap to disprove and prove IT but it was constantly drowned out by the arguments like the ones in this thread. Few people ever stop to consider that maybe IT was intended but scrapped and the sequences were kept and recycled, creating the confusion.  Personally I think it was intended then scrapped but we weren't ever supposed to figure that out.

ACTION:

Maybe this was after they tossed the bit where the player was going to lose control of Shepard, which is why they don't have the conversation with the GUARDIAN yet.

Garrus could be indoctrinated as much as Shepard depending on the playthrough. The only missions in the trilogy he isn't on is Eden Prime in ME1, Freedom's Progress, the Cerberus station when Shepard first wakes up, Mars, invasion of Earth and lastly, the Arrival dlc.

I guess IT and ME3 endings got more logic, than Sanctum 2 ending(s) Why?

In Sanctum 2, before DLC release... We got a open ending, where Lume Titan. (Is huge by the way, close to the Sovereign class reapers in ME3) is pushing onward lumes to Elysion One to make a destruction and infection. For almost three DLC because in Road To Elysion, Ruins Of Brightholme and The Pursuit. We chasing the titan and we defeat him.

 

But in Last Stand DLC, things are get only worse, since lume activity is increased and more titans appear. So the question is... How we supose kill more lume titans, when merely one is killed by two shoots from SOKOL? Cannon located in Brightholme...

I chalk it up to bad writing. IT would end up with even more plotholes than reading everything at face.

The furthest theory I've seen is that all 3 games are a simulation for whatever reason - one possible one being that this is all an N7 training sim far into the 'future', where we play through the known records of Commander Shepard, and just play out variations of the legend.

If the Indoctrination Theory isn't real, then everything Sovereign has told me is a lie!

I rather believe what Sovereign tells me than the catalyst. Mainly due to the fact the catalyst is just trying to kiss up to Shepard and it isn't really that believe when it's creations are stating the opposite and how the organics and synthetics are experiencing first hand of what the Reapers motives are and how they are done.

IT was and still is an infinitely better piece of writing than anything bioware shat out for the final third of ME3, how anyone can sit here and so vehemenently decry it and keep bleating about the half arsed ending dlc in the same breath is beyond baffeling to me.

LOLOLOL! IT Theory does exactly as it says to those who believe it. You watch a freakin' video and all of sudden you believe it without questioning a lot of speculations of its "what ifs." Like Shepard bleeding from his/her left abdomen, because Anderson was shot there. Did you not see Shepard get blasted by Harby's beam? Or did you just miss it entirely?

 

Also, I'm more interested on how IT ends. We know Shep's indoctrinated and the whole beam thing was just a bunch of bull and Shep never left London, but what the HECK happens to the Reapers, hmm? Do they all just scram if the Shepard chose to destroy the Reapers?
