It is no surgery. That is what I am going through.

1. If you are a male- bang a hawt chick and keep your companions alive.
2. If you are female, convince a  TEAM MATE to bang the very same hawt chick to keep your companions alive. Oh were you romancing him? Too bad> Do you have problems pimping out your team mate? Yeah...well, you should have played a male PC.

PLEASE tell me that shagging Morrigan is not the way to companion safety. The very notion makes my frontal brain hurt. Dark and gritty means grey choices for all. I am finding it hard to see how nookie for one gender, vs pimping out your team mate/lover/friend for another makes any sense.

It has to be a mistake, right?

Have you actually gotten to this point in the story? Or is it just something you've read about elsewhere?

We have gotten to the point where Morrigan tells me this is the only way (child and sacrifice and deathblows killing folks). Of course I am playing under serious medication so...I am hoping I am hallucinating. Maybe it is the shortcuts I took? I railroaded through it because I will be shifted to another ward where I can't play on the laptop.

Maybe I missed out on a "your buddies don't have to die if you don't force one of them to shag Morrigan" clue/quest/codex/ info. Or maybe Morrigan is lying?

If your male character would have no problems "taking one for the team" in order to save the other wardens, why are you assuming that your teammates are any less willing? You're not going to have to tie him down and hold a knife to his throat; for all you know he'll be like "hellz yeah, boooyeee, I been waiting for this day!"

You haven't gotten to the part yet. It is easy to tell with the assumptions you make.

You have to talk the buddy into it. Which given that I maintained his nice side, was..well I couldn't do it. And if this means either me or buddy has to die, I am stopping right here and waiting until the toolset is out to see if I can mod it to be a less painful (for me and buddy) conversation.

Well... if you can't possibly take Morrigan's offered solution and you can't possibly have anyone die facing the archdemon (which is what would normally happen), then yes. You definitely have a problem. It's a pickle, for sure.
