Last month they revealed the character on that friday and the actual news came on monday, wednesday and the last friday.

I don't know how they handle the holy days.

I have a theory...

 

Nine companions.  We already know Varric and Cassandra from previous, so no Friday for them.  We've already had Vivenne.  That leaves six.  Presuming an October release, there are six last-of-month Fridays from now till October.

I'm hoping for Cullen as well. If it is Solas or Iron Bull that's good as well I'm looking forward to knowing more about both of them, but I'm really hoping for Cullen first

On another note: I'd love it if they revealed Cullen as a companion this time. If only because that would mean he is not a NPC romance, which would raise the chances of there being 4 bisexual LIs again.

Plus, I feel bad for the Cullenites. I imagine they must be just as frustrated with the lack of companion confirmation as I am with the lack of information on LI sexuality.

If they follow the pattern of Vivienne, then they will announce the character tomorrow and post an in-game screenshot. Actual information will come on the following Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
