The Iron Bull was confirmed in magazines and PAX East, Sera was confirmed in magazines, and Solas was given the limelight in a magazine article. If you mean, have the Dev's come forward and said, "Yes, this is a companion", the only one you could argue that for is the Iron Bull, because of PAX East.


They actually said that Sera and Solas are companions at Pax East. I didn't know. The video I watched of the first panel cut out a few times so I might have missed something. So much that is reported in magazine and on magazine website is misquoted so I don't pay much heed to them I prefer for it to be announced by an official Bioware source.

Solas was shown in screenshots as a member of the party. The character was confirmed to exist by devs (Gaider commented on the name). There are little chances he's not a companion.

He was in the 'Discover the Dragon Age' Trailer. Solas is definitely a companion!

and why someone can like Cullen for what he is, and after what he is done in Ferelden and Kirkwall?

 

Cullen deserve execution from DAO not to mention DA2 and i hope that Devs let us do this at least in DAInquisition

At this point it'd practically impossible that things change in the companion department. And it was Bioware who shown Solas to the press, and as another poster said in a video.

Hey, everyone!
 
As you may have seen earlier today on our social channels, we're kicking off a new Dragon Age: Inquisition feature called "Follower Friday." It only happens once a month, and you never know who's going to be next. This month belongs to the Imperial enchanter Vivienne!

What is Follower Friday? Each month we will reveal one of the followers that you'll get to meet in the game. We'll start by showing you a screenshot of that character on "Follower Friday," then come back with a proper introduction the following week! You'll learn more about who they are, and of course, there will be more screenshots to enjoy as well!
 
Will every follower get featured as part of Follower Friday? No. We're going to leave some mystery for you to discover in the game. Dragon Age: Inquisition comes out this fall!
 
Why is it called Follower Friday when it only happens once a month? We normally do "Fan Fridays," so it's a way of sticking with the theme. Follower Friday will happen toward the end of each month.
 
Who's next for April? If I told you that, it wouldn't be much of a reveal, now would it?  :D How about instead of telling you who it is, I'll tell you who it's not? I've seen some posters guess that Cassandra and Varric will be next. They will not. In April, you will see someone new!

I think Solas will be next, due to his announcement in Germany, he seems the obvious choice. I dont think they expected us to be this connected so Germany got a preview before they were truly announced. And personally, I look forward to meeting him.

The whole country comes to a halt? It doesn't in the UK. I've been to work today from 6:00 to 12:00. Not saying that that means Bioware have to work, just that I can't believe the whole country stops.

I don't know how it works in Canada with Good Friday, but in the US basically no one gets Good Friday off.

 

Edit, actually I just checked wikipedia, in Canada Good Friday is one of the few holidays where "Most workers, public and private, are entitled to take the day off with regular pay."

Pretty much all Bioware Twitter has been silent today. I'm thinking it's not going to happen till Monday. Unless of course Easter Monday is a holiday up there too.

My husband works two jobs and he's working both today! One is public school teaching in fact. Lol and Good Friday is not a national holiday anywhere.

In Norway we have off from work thursday, friday, half a day saturday, sunday and monday. Hopefully thats not the case in Canada. :P
