My husband works two jobs and he's working both today! One is public school teaching in fact. Lol and Good Friday is not a national holiday anywhere.

I've never had Good Friday off, but fiance works for the government and has the day off.

 

Then again, it is only 10am PST.

I live in Canada and my husband (works in the gaming industry) has off today. It's a statutory holiday here like New Years, Christmas, etc. Most people get the day off, if you work you'll get paid time and a half or double.

Patience, we'll get the news eventually.

Or in my case I work at a Real Canadia Superstore (goodie) I get three days off instead of two. But I still might not get Friday off, so if I worked that day (which I didn't today) I would get paid more.

Doubtful. We North Americans get less time off than Europeans.

uk is different people in  most jobs work 6-7 days a week plus overtime

Ya know, if they had just posted the date for each month's Follower Friday in the OP, it would have made things much simpler for everyone. Transparency, setting user expectations, and all that.

But they did specify in this very forum that the follower would be announced on a Friday and then the following Friday they would reveal info. There are only two Fridays (including today) left. So I guess that makes them full of it.
It doesn't matter anyway when they do it. What matters is they should have been considerate enough to tell fans that today was a holiday (for them). A friend of mine runs a huge social networking ground of 1,000+ people and he's been planning to forward the follower reveal info all week. Now he has no idea. Some of us are scouting around and asking devs what gives - but they're not saying anything. Incredibly annoying.

Nope, they didn't say that they'd reveal info the following Friday. They said they'd reveal info the following week, as the did with Vivienne, and if they'll go that route with April 25th as the FF two of three updated will be on April, but they could very well change the week schedule.
There's one 'Friday' that they talked about, and it's the FF, which could very well be the next one.

Again, the fact that the FF would always happen the third Friday is just our speculation. The fact that it happened for Vivienne doesn't mean that it'd happen everytime, and they have no obligation to tell is when it'll happen. It's not their fault if some people believed it was sure due to misunderstanding what they said.
