Seriously? I never complain. But I am disappoint. So are they skipping this Month because of a holiday (not familiar with, but hear it is one) They had two weeks for Vivienne. If they announce a follower Friday, be sure to specific on the dates. Other wise we assume its the same time ever month and not just a one time deal.
Oh well. No worries. Misunderstanding. My bad. Sad face.

They're not necessarily skipping the month. The FF can be April 25th.

Vivienne was probably a special case because she was the first one and they needed to introduce the idea, or something. Or they're just being inconsistent, which happens all the time with videogame marketing.

The only thing that was revealed on the second last Friday was one screenshot, and a blog post explaining what this Follower Friday thing is.

Guh. I only asked basically everyone and kept getting told it was today. All my tweets were ignored too. Bah.

Not everybody would be in the know on this. It's a marketing thing, so only marketing people would be likely to know their schedule. Besides which, I think the poor Bioware people would prefer not to spend their well-earned holiday in mid-crunch answering questions.

It is not because we do not know how to read a calendar (but thanks for the insult, that's always helpful).

 

It is because with the previous Follower Friday, they announced who they would cover on the NEXT TO LAST FRIDAY. And then gave small snippets that following Monday and Wednesday, leading to the big segment on the last Friday.

 

People aren't "stupid" for wondering if the same pattern would follow for the rest of the reveals.

They never said that the they would cover the last two Fridays of the month. They stated that near the end of the month there'll be a FF, which is the day when they reveal the companion to be featured. They never said that it'll be the third, or that the news might not be released over the month. They just said that the FF will happen in each months, which can still happen.
While I agree that drawing the comparison was reasonable (I did), and that there's no need to insult people who thought that, it wasn't confirmed that April would follow the same pattern,. It was just speculation.

As I said, I don't approve of insults. I debates on the FF not being today, but I didn't insult anyone. I wish others would follow the same approach.

Your smarter than me I was just lurking around this thread on the off chance that there would be a FF Friday. At least you got the answer we were all waiting to hear and thank you for that.

I had the problem of not being on either Facebook or twitter so rely on community spirited people like you to find these things out for me.

I think the internet has inflated some fans' sense of entitlement for information when they deem it fit. 

*To clarify, I believe it's fine to ask. I do not think it's alright for some people to act like kicked puppies because information didn't come out today.

I'm honestly quite surprised that Bioware's devs keep responding to fans.

I do agree that being rude and/or acting like one has been deceived/harmed is detestable.

From what I've read of David's posts he seems a genuinely nice guy It would be a shame if people insulted him because today is not FF Friday. We will get information when we get it. After all there is still six months until the game is released.

I'm not really upset about it, but it would be nice if they'd just pick a Friday (last, second to last, etc) so people know when to check in. Sometimes it seems like they're frustratingly vague about everything.
