Well that didn't happen.

 

Honestly, this is just bad business. They committed to doing this on a monthly basis, specifically told us we were going to be getting someone for April, didn't follow through, and now they're apparently trying to play it off with a laugh.

 

When you say you're going to do something, you're giving your word. And when you give your word you either follow through or you let the other person know you won't be able to because of extenuating circumstance.

 

I can forgive them not doing it this week or last week because of the flood of information we had this week, but they should have told us they weren't going to do it because of that information.

 

And honestly, how hard is it to put up a damn screen shot?

Dear Bioware we know you listen feedback of your fans. (or atleast we hope)

 

If you tell people that you can do something then just do it.

Or tell us in advence,So we dont check here and on blog and website.all day

It's safe to say the BioWare folks graduated from the school of Peter Molyneux.

Well, barring any secret companion that may or may not exist, we've pretty much seen our party lineup + our advisers. While I was looking forward to Follower Friday, I'm pretty content right now, especially with a release date revealed. Half a year from now, we'll all look back on this Follower Friday thing and laugh as us diehard fans probably finish up our second playthroughs and talk about our favorite companions and pine over the love interests that might have been.

It's the lack of communication that gets me. I'm sure Bioware would laugh at that say, "Lack of communication? We just gave you an awesome trailer, release date, etc". But when I say lack of communication, I mean the fact that we're told that a new follower will be released on a Friday towards the end of the month. It didn't happen last week, it was a holiday in Canada. Bioware should have said, "It's a holiday for us, we're not releasing FF today. Sorry guys!" and we'd have been cool. Then today is the last Friday of the month, and we're expecting FF because that's what we were told we were going to get. Hours later, we're finally told, after I'm sure people have hounded Bioware through Twitter, that we're not getting FF at all today.

 

Okay, that's fine. Could you maybe have told us before? "Hey guys! Due to the influx of trailer and release date, etc, we're not going to do FF this month. Hope you understand."

 

Don't let us sit here like rabid dogs slobbering at the mouths waiting for a bone.
