Personally I'm with Gaider. If I had the choice of getting that incredible video and the new website or getting another Friday Follower update I choose that video 100 times out of 100. I would've liked to hear about a new follower too but come on people at least attempt to be reasonable.
But then don't create something like Follower Friday, then have no follower on the second month. This thing is 1 for 2. That's a failing grade.
I just want them to tell us if there's not going to be a Follower Friday and they're skipping a month for some reason. People were actually planning their day around this. They said it would be one Friday per month, towards the end of the month. There is no reason why people wouldn't assume it was today, the last Friday of the month. It's not like it's something I wouldn't buy the game over, but yeah, it's annoying that their communication on this blows. What's happening is clearly not what they said was going to happen.
Sticking with the low to no expectations stance has so far worked far too well. The lack of communication sure suck

I'm pretty sure all people want is a screenshot and a little bit of info about someone we haven't learned about yet.

We would've been more reasonable if they've told us they weren't going to do FF this month before hand not on the actually day it was suppose to happen.

Hell if they wanted to uber soften the blow they could've sent the tweet with the link of the trailer.

David- "so sorry about the delay. Work continues! Considering a couple of options: one male, one female."
Female. Please be female. That way it is either Sera or Scribbles, both of whom I want to know about. 
Okay everyone. I agree that this is a major poopy and I think a lot of angst could have been avoided with a simple tweet before all this mess.
However.
The last four pages or so have been the exact same 2 or 3 sentiments playing on loop.
We get it. We feel the same way.
Can we at least cut back on the bitter venting until this time in May?

Hogwash. I've been on these boards for five years. "Reasonable" and "BSN" almost never goes hand-in-hand. If they had released it on time there still would've been a slew of complaints and bickering. Either it would've been "well why did you choose Cullen", "Why did you choose a female", "Why didn't you choose a female", "Why didn't you choose Cole", or some other nonsense. I wanted more follower information too but I'm just saying the best communication on the planet wouldn't have stopped this forum from having a fit one way or another.

well....okay then.
he's considering options: "one male, or one female"....*snort*. indeed, my young human. indeed.
We already have a ton of information for Cassandra and Vivienne, but the only male we know much about is Varric and that's mostly because he's a pre-existing character. I hope they go with a male.

I wouldn't count on that. He is one of only three people at the table (excluding the Inquisitor) who does not have any weapon.
So since new FFs are released on a Friday towards the end of the month, does that mean we have to wait an entire month before we get one?
