Imho annoying as hell.

 

I dunno, so far they have a pretty crappy way of doing FF (no one knows when it is, if it's on the forums or blogs, etc), so having come up with a better way of doing it has to be good.

 

So I'm going to optimistically hope that they're coming up with a real system of when they're releasing info, how that info is being released, etc. And we'll find all that out in a couple weeks when they do that with our next companion.

I'm sure getting BioWare to check and post on their own forum once in a while isn't asking too much. It gets tiresome having to receive any answers over a third party website (Twitter) when people like me don't even use it.

The trailer just a released a day (or two or three) early.  What with that last scene (AND the fact that we were told that FF would be a picture with a name).....

I was looking forward to coming here to see the name of a new companion... but I guess that was just me getting my hopes up for nothing. Well at least we got a trailer that showed a dozen followers in it (don't know if all of them are combat ready though; there's always the possibility that 1 or 2 of them may stay at the keep to play treasurer or something like that.)

Well, I'd be willing to wait a while longer if it means we get a decent introduction to all the characters before release. It sounds like a good trade. I wonder if they'll just add them to the site with the other profiles already up.

Proceed with caution. They bring people on and turn around and lay them off very easily. I've heard it's incredibly "clique-y" there and you have to brown-nose your way through everything. Beyond that, independent creativity gets tossed out the window, a lot. All things I've read/heard from current and former BW staff. Also they kinda just blow money on dumb crap like free ice cream for the staff, meanwhile making cutbacks by firing every newb who walks through the door.

 

Oh well. That's not very different than most of the industry.
