i see.
Anything could have happened in Ferelden after the Blight. The mage-templar war might have also affected Ferelden politically.

Well if Alistair died, she's queen.
But aside from that..who knows? Maybe she manages to talk an un-married alistair to marry her for the sake of the kingdom (make sure the sides that were for her and the ones for alistair stop fighting for good). Maybe she just takes the nobility she was born with.
Don't forget about those lovely ladies that married him.
I don't envy the DA team sometimes. I think deciding on what, if anything, to do with Alistair is one of those times.
They are indeed lovely.
And I hope those ladies get satisfying closure on this matter. ![]()
I also hope that Morrigan acknowledges her and my Warden's son.
But that's off-topic. ![]()

Didn't they decide on nothing? I thought his voice actor had confirmed he wasn't doing work on inquisition (Although I could be misremembering, lord knows I get see so much info in this forum it all becomes a jumble in my head)

The last we heard, BioWare hadn't contacted him yet. Nothing else confirmed.
The ruler of Ferelden would what, have one or maybe two scenes with them. It's doable that they can have Alistair or Anora swap. The Warden won't since they disappeared so its only between them.

Or have the monarch be "too busy with other matters" and we'll deal with Bann Tegan.

That works too. And simply have him use her for Anora, him for Alistair, or they for both depending on who is ruling.

...One concern with dealing with Bann Tegan. I left Isolde alive. ![]()
I didn't have it in me to allow the use blood magic, nor take a (rather idiotic) mother from an innocent boy. Yet, I know that there is a good chance, that shrill voice shall come back to haunt me again.

TEEEEEEGHAAAN!
I'm not faulting the voice actress, only those that directed her. Seriously voice directors, why?? That is the most screeching and annoying voice of any female NPC in the series thus far, in my opinion.
I'll admit I was too lazy my first time playing Origins and decided to kill her to save Connor. Mainly, because she annoyed the hell out of me. I didn't do that since, but I'm damned quick with the spacebar when I have to deal with her dialogue. Her cameo in DA2 during MotA only reaffirmed my distaste for her.
Sorry for the rant, but for the voice and much more, I despise her.
Ahem. To get back on topic, when it comes to Anora, it would be nice to have a mention of her fate if the Warden had Alistair rule alone/rule with the Warden.

Well, after the blight he was King when he visited me in Kirkwall, so.
We'll see. Or maybe just you will
Well, also bare in mind that we are in a post-Asunder Thedas now. We don't know what kind of state Ferelden is in.

Sure we do. It's recovering from the Fifth Blight. Simple. ![]()

We shall see my Tashina! And with that I bid you goodnight
Night Div.

Smartass. That's meant affectionately, by the way. I figure you can tell, but I just wanted to be clear on that. ![]()
I was more referring the Circle business and you know it. ![]()

See what exactly? I already said that I made Alistair and Anora co-rulers of Ferelden. However, some didn't give Alistair any political power. And major events have transpired since DA2. The idea that Alistair must be king is unfair to the writers, given the many other possibilities.
I hope it varies from context to context. She's queen if she rules alone with Alistair, in a dungeon to keep from competing with Alistair, otherwise. Perhaps if you performed certain actions, like refuse to support her and execute Loghain, or tell her you won't execute Loghain and do so anyway, she's leading a rebellion.
Come to think of it, I have a Cousland who became Prince-Consort. Wouldn't people take notice if he just up an disappeared?
it was a joke and my iphone emojis don't transfer to the forums so the little face didn't show up but okkkkkkkkkk
Steve Valentine confirmed it on his twitter.
The game is STILL being made, and voices are still being recored as we speak. Otherwise the "contest" would just be BS.
May be Alistair made her his ambassador to Orlais. She would not double cross him and do a deal with Celene because that would mean betraying her father's memory, which she cherishes if no one else does. About the safest person to entrust with keeping Ferelden free of Orlesian influence would be Anora. Alternatively she is simply kept under house arrest until such time as she is no longer felt to be a threat. Since Alistair proves a very popular king, particularly with the ordinary people, and he had the support of the majority of nobles at the Landsmeet, that might not have to be a particularly long period. Also if Alistair fails to produce an heir, which is likely, if Anora is wise she will just bide her time until he goes on his Calling to the Deep Roads and then step back into the breach.
So far as DAI is concerned the non carry over version has the Warden a Dalish who does the ultimate sacrifice, so I assume this would also have Alistair as king. (Was he king in the comic when knocking around with Varric and Isabella?) However, whatever you import, it is unlikely you would actually meet the monarch be it Alistair or Anora. More likely you would deal with a trusted advisor which would avoid a lot of problems, including having to get the original voice actors back in for what would amount to a cameo role.
I always kind of hoped my Queen Cousland had her executed on the sly...
If they were going to ret-con someone out of existence, it seems more likely to me that Alistair would stay and Anora would go. They've used Alistair as cannon in basically all of the comics and ancillary products. Alistair as king is the default choice for players that don't use the Dragon's Keep. It seems unlikely to me that he's getting the boot.
Or have the monarch be "too busy with other matters" and we'll deal with Bann Tegan.
Oh please no not him, I hate Bann/Arl/Ambassador to Orlais, w/e he is Teagan.. Mr lets refuse to unify behind Loghain even though all the wardens are suspected dead and lets make assumptions and conclusions on something when I wasnt even there..not that guy =P
I think Fergus Cousland needs more screen time, he is one of the most powerful nobles in Ferelden and survives origins regardless of which origin you play. Fergus Cousland - Ambassador of Ferelden to the Inquisition.. Has a nice ring to it =D
