Well I'll be a son of a gun, would you look at that? Spectre was replying to me when he posted the links, even.
Thanks!

*headdesk* People got mad because there characters looks where screwed over, and it is a valid complaint. Just because YOU don't think it is does not change that. If Warden and Hawke DO show up, there will be complaints. Many of which are valid.
And again, why is Bioware obligated to support third party modifications on top of the vanilla stuff that they actually create themselves? Complaining that the appearance isn't the same because you CHOSE to use mods in a previous game implies that you hold Bioware accountable for implementing third party mods that they have no control over/input in, which is a very unreasonable expectation and therefore a very unreasonable complaint.
Complaining that your character looks different due to Bioware's own design is one thing. Complaining your character looks different due to third party modifications Bioware has no involvement in whatsoever is a completely different issue entirely -- and frankly it's petty and absurd.
That's her name? Yeeesss I want so badly. I wantz. *makes grabby hands desperately*
She also played Janeka in Legacies for DA2.
Yup, I'm done with you.
But... Why?Sure. Heck, I'm one of them. And, assuming we get the option to use the DA:I character creator at all, at first we'll have to make do with the closest approximation the game will give us, the same way I did the first time I made my Warden. Then, over time, modders will slowly grow the assets out, just like with DA:O and DA2. It won't be perfect, but with all the options Bioware is touting in the frostbite engine CC, I'll be able to find something close enough to my Warden that I can claim she changed her hair or something. It's still worth it a million times over just to be able to see her again, to me. To know she's stll fighting the good fight, in my case.
I respect your opinion, but I really think the people who are worried that their Warden won't react exactly the way they would have their Warden react are reaching a bit. Bioware's back in control of the character. They dictated the life of the character up until the Origin story, and they will dictate the rest of the story from here on out. The only question is whether we get to see it happen, or whether we only get to read about it. I'd rather it be the former.
As long as they don't slap a run of the mill appearance on every Warden, write them into someone else (as in, don't have them do something terribly meaningful that could easily go against whatever you played them as.) and they don't have that much screen time, the Warden appearing wouldn't bother me much.
My Warden is fairly modded as well, but I don't really mind if she'd looks different with the new CC if they allow us to make them again; pretty much every other returning character is going to look different in the new engine as well, I can suspend my disbelief a bit with changing appearances. Just don't reset everyone to some default appearance, for the love of god. I can't suspend it that much.

Oooooh. I wantz more now ![]()
If she's not one of femHawke's voices I'll have a sad.
Shall I remind you of the Shepard importing fiasco from ME3, where many players had Shepards importing wrong because slider numbers where changed or removed from ME2? That upset people.
If they give me the ability to re-create the Warden's appearance it won't bother me if he looks a little different than my original. I mean it has been some years so I would want to touch him up a little. For Hawke, well I used default Hawke appearance so I have no concerns there.
So yeah, Warden and Hawke appearing sounds absolutely ahhhmazing to me! I have this fantasy of fighting alongside the two of them, even if just for one battle. Pllzzz let it be so!
I wish there was a thumbs down LOL
I find it hard to verbally express how much it tickles me when people get so sensitive about their age. I mean I just can't.
If player customization of previous protagonists is available at all, I wager it would be relegated to optional Keep content.
Having that pop up in the beginning of Inquisition itself would be a big no-no as far as maintaining new player accessibility 101 is concerned.
"What do these two people look like?"
"How the hell should I know?"
The Inquisitor could ask Varric to give a description of Hawk. Which opens a cutscean followed by the character creator. Then boom we reconstruct our Hawk. Need to know what the Warden Commander looks like? Do the same thing but ask Morrigan instead.
I think with DG popping in like that, he's pretty much saying having Hawke and the Warden appear in the game is still not a thing that's going to happen.
I spend a lot of time customizing my PCs so I would be very unhappy if they used default versions. I'd rather they not appear at all. That said, if we had the option of recreating them in the CC I'd be super down with that.
Then again, I only want to see them again if they also appear with their LI
No more of that "The Warden? The Warden who?" sh!t we got with Zevran!

If the inquisitor's going to be 30+ then BioWare needs to make it realistic. She needs to start gaining weight for no reason and wondering for the first time in her life if the outfit armor she has on is age appropriate.
Are we sure Iron Bull has been confirmed as a companion? All the leaked images show Solas but not him and there have been inconsistencies in the preview.

This made me giggle. I'm going to be 30 in a few months, I've yet to start questioning if my clothes are age appropriate (mostly because I prefer more vintage style, but still). To add, she'd also start stressing about a randomly found grey hair and would run to a mirror of transformation to touch up her hair...
Just because there is world wide chaos and an inquisition to run doesn't mean trivial things no longer matter...I give lots of [mental] back stories and side stories to my characters and their party members, so basically this all going in my mental story file for use while playing ![]()
Could've sworn I read someone the Inq is anywhere from 20 - 40.
I hope they don't pull a Hawke and give the PC's exact age. That was a bummer.
Morrigan will make an appearance but won't be a party member. The same goes for Hawke and the Warden.
Demon summoning? Oh boy now that is interesting but I feel its probably a mistranslation.
I share the curiosity of others on whether this is class-based or applies to every inquisitor - is that power done via ritual, magical item, or something completely different? The Inquisitor can make his/her own rifts (is it the correct word for Risse) in the fade and summon demons
Wonder if the possibility of cutting off its tail is an option, a la Dark Souls.A dragon is especially vulnerable on the head
The previews certainly sold me on that already, but thanks for the info.large and beautiful areas, elaborate tactic camera
Drat, I was hoping for some overpowered unarmed combination of the two. Ah well..."The bald elf mage" "The Qunari Iron Bull"

I'd like to think that Femquisitor is so badass, that she prevents the grey hairs from ever forming

According to the article you can cut off the legs of the dragon, which causes him to fall on the side and enables you to attack his neck.
