Like I said, I'm the first to admit that Bioware is fully capable of surprising me when it comes to companions; it's happened before. Thought I'd hate Varric when I first saw him(very, very early on) and he became one of my favorites. Thought I'd hate Fenris, and while I wouldn't call him a favorite, ended up liking him well enough.
Bites both ways, though; thought I'd love Aveline, ended up being the only Dragon Age companion I absolutely actively disliked.
Really hoping that won't happen with Iron Bull, but given that Weekes is writing him, and I've liked every character Weekes has written, I'm liking my odds.
I feel like Iron Bull will be really hard not to love IE Varric in DA2. The vast majority really like Varric, i dunno why but i'm getting that kinda vibe from IB as well.
Maybe it's just me speculating too much, lol
That's just a rumour but I'm quite positive Scribbles will be a NPC LI, like Cullen is
If Weekes does write her though, it means IB will unlikely be a LI

My guess was that they used Hayner's Razor because it looks unrefined, brutish, bulky, lots more words to say roughly the same thing, etc etc
