He isn’t trying to convert anybody, but he’s not going to apologize for his way of life, and people like Varric, who saw the Qunari at their worst in Kirkwall, might take that the wrong way.

 

Does that mean Varric is suspicious of the Qunari Inquisitor and Iron Bull at the get go?

 

I wouldn't blame him. Most of my characters are gonna be suspicious of the Qun so I guess Quizzy and Varric can narrow their eyes in suspicion at IB from the jump.

 

I think Varric would probably only be suspicious (after a while anyway) of Qunari Inq who defends the Qun.

I am new here amongst the Iron Bull fans, but after the new trailer, I had to join you all

Everytime I read something on the forums, or re-watch the trailers, or the demo, or the interview, or anything, it just gets me more and more excited.

The fact that we apparently have more LIs and that whole "won't break" thing does have me worried that there will be even more restrictions when it comes to romances, racial restrictions being the most likely factor. I'm hoping he's open to my Dalsih Inquisitor U-U

 

But apart from that, I am absolutely thrilled about this guy. LI or not He's gonna be a near constant member of my party.

Sounds like this guy might be an LI, I love how they answered all the Questions about him being in the Inquisition in a way that makes sense lore wise. So much better than Tallis.

Plus while IB enjoys his freedom and is a little uneasy on the Qun, he still has some sort of loyalty to them so I think any back talking of the Qun and Qunari might ****** IB off.

No, still only Cullen and Cassandra confirmed but in his character profile it says "The Iron Bull really loves life outside the demands of the Qun, now that he’s gotten used to it, and he does everything big. He overeats, drinks himself sick, and will hop into bed with anyone he’s reasonably sure he won’t break. "

 

That could be a hint but we won't know till the devs tell us.

Well the Qunari are planning an attack so I imagine Varric isn't too happy about that?

 

I don't mind The Iron Bull being Ben Hassrath and sending reports , I mean the Qunari are not stupid when it comes to disaster such as the Blight.

But I hope it's possible to draw a line , and say Ok Iron Bull you can send reports about the Breach , demons blablabla...so The Qun can be prepared if the Inquisition fails or whatever.

But anything helping their plan about future war with humans :NO.

I'm actually very interested in racial romance restrictions, despite how much it would limit the PC even more. (Especially when you factor in gender restrictions) I always viewed it as a plausible added layer of storytelling concerning the inherent ideals of an Inquisitor based off of how they were raised and/or their culture, rather than physiology. So long as it isn't as shallow as Alistair turning down a female Warden if he is to be King and she's not a noble. Though, I realize it probably isn't going to matter because the dialogue choices are all the same for the Inquisitor across the board, regardless of race or gender. But it was an added layer of depth I mull over occasionally. 

In any event, I must agree with you. My fem!qun!quisitor and IB are going to be best bros! (Unless he drinks himself to the point a hangover won't let him go on an adventure with her. Then she'll get on his case for bad habits like so.)
