He's huge.

The idea of Iron Bull being at all afraid of her is what worries me. Iron Bull isn't supposed to be afraid of anything but his own inner demons. The idea of him being at all intimidated by Vivienne is ridiculous.
So let's hope it means something else.
Ugh, who said anything about intimidation?
Weekes said they do get along
So it's more about a friend slaping a friend to get him back to his senses rather than threatening to burn him
Though I'm pretty sure Vivienne wouldn't mind sending sparks in his direction when he gets too active. Playfully, obviously

Blank-Slate-Blues, since you asked.
So the Sera thread just got locked.
Let's see if we can't catch up to it before it gets reopened.
I wonder how large the male Qunari Inq will be in comparison to him in both height and muscle mass, the female was pretty damn tall she literally looked at least a foot taller than Dorian
That does worry me that maybe they aren't doing the unique body types for the companions after all.

What? why?
What? why?
Probably the comparisons of the elf/human crossbreeding complications to real life controversies regarding interracial relationships. But I couldn't say for sure.

Did something imply otherwise?

Ah, I think she didn't mean literal ******-yo-pants-fear
More like being wary around mages who have a habit of destroying everything they touch and beocming possessed

Well a lot of people pointed out that even accounting for perspective and armor, Blackwall looked considerably bigger than Dorian in the war room scene.

Yes i mean did something imply that this wasnt the case or are you just saying that you're afraid this wont be the case

Ah, I'm just saying. Big as the fem qunari was there doesn't seem to be that much room for a male qunari being noticeably smaller than Iron Bull.

True, i think the height will be the same, however their physique wont be because even by qunari standards Iron Bull is huge, i dont see them rehashing the physique of male qunari to all be that large
Yea, I definitely think that a qunari mage with Iron Bull's bulk would look ridiculous.
I see Iron Bull as the typical mountain-character who will hover over everyone's heads.
The males and females had always the same height in the concept art, hadn't they? I hope male qunquizzi will be as tall as female quizzi.

This isnt the case however if you look at the screenshot of everyone standing around the table. Blackwall alone towers over everyone except IB

I've never understood those comparisons. If someone who's asian has a kid with someone who's hispanic you get a kid who's half asian and half hispanic. If an elf has a kid with a human you get a human. Seems like a slightly different ballgame to me.

Someone pointed out that Dorian appears to be shorter than the other male humans. We haven't had enough opportunities to compare to get a definite answer, but it seems like unique body types are still a significant possibility for companions.
Is it just me or does the Iron Bull's head/face look waaaaaaaaaaaaay too small compared to his horns and the rest of his body. I think his jaw and overall face looked much better proportioned in the very first DA:I trailer. Now they seemed to have narrowed it down to look more human. Call me crazy, but I loved how the qunari looked in DA2, very strong and broad faces. Iron Bull right now is a total departure from that for me... like they slapped a human proportioned face on a qunari body. Not really liking the straight angular bull horns either... I much prefered the slightly curved ram horns.
Meh, maybe I'll grow to like his look, if all else fails I'll slap a helmet on him and hope it carries over to conversation.
I recall someone from Bioware team saying that modifying sex-scenes is very complex and race and gender add even more complexity so the process of making LI scenes is quite long, unless one wants a dwarf to grab someone's genitalia accidentaly...
Or sth like that, I just remember him/her telling that example of a dwarf graving someone's genita...
Just, gotta say, you can't grab girls' genitalia, only boys'. And it seemed only qunari would be high enough for such weird accident to happen
Just, saying, Iron Bull is a qunari, isn't he?..
...
I'm spending too much time overanalysing posts on this forum

Well it's not just you, several have said the same.
I disagree, though.

Qunari are by nature extremely muscular. Did you not see the Saarebas in DA2?
Also, what makes you think that Iron Bull is noticably larger than normal Qunari?

Whenever members of a given race all have the same body type in a game, I assume it's the developers deciding not to devote resources to giving them different models. I expect a qunari mage would be a hulk compared to human or elven mages, but a tooth pick compared to a qunari warrior.
At the start I didn't think there was any evidence that Iron Bull would be bigger than other qunari but the idea caught on with a lot of the other fans. I did say very early on that I would like it if the male qunari was slightly smaller than Iron Bull just to emphasize his place as the muscle of the team, but I didn't think it would actually happen until the war room scene that seemed to show differences in size between male humans.

Why would you expect a Qunari mage to be thin? I know it is a trope and all that amges a physically frail, but the Qunari are atypical mages. They are a race that are naturally muscular (based on what we've seen so far). So for all we know the Iron Bull is of average size amongst the Qunari, which would mean that a Qunari mage would be the same size as him. Roughly anyway.
