How are so many people already fans of this character? We know nothing about him. Just his looks and some speculation but no idea how its going to play out and stuff.

Anyone else think Clancy Brown would be a great voice actor for our beloved Bull? I dunno, I've had the idea stuck in my head since I first saw the character. Anyways, I normally lurk, but I was so pleased to find this thread.

I just...he seems like fun but his horns really, really bother me. The Arishok's were huge but at least they didn't stick out like handlebars. Does Iron Bull fit well through doorways?  Does he get those horns caught on other things many times? All I can picture is some kids swinging from his horns and using him like a jungle gym.

All good questions. But whatever reservations they have about Iron Bull, won't they in turn have those same thoughts about a Quanari inquisitor?

 

Wasn't the Qunari Inq born and raised outside the Qun? If anything he/she would have typical views from wherever he/she was raised.

You make a fair point, I wonder if that will become/was ever an issue for the animations department, surely there'll be at least a couple doorways we'll be walking though in the upcoming game.

Maybe his horns are like that so that they don't clash with the inquisitor qunari horns.

Yeah but he/she will still be a Qunari, so people are bound to have pre-conveived impressions of them. Which you can then go ahead and shove down their throats by proving them wrong.

Well, for starters, he looks awesome. I don't care about sexy or attractive or any of that, he looks badass.

Honestly, I like the name. It fits a mercenary type, and already gives him an intriguing aura. We shall find out more as time goes on I guess.

Just no...I love pearlman, He's an excellent VA.

 

But no, I'd like to see some one like Wasserman come back, he did a half decent job voicing the Arishok after all.

Don't get me wrong, I love Wasserman, but they're not going to have the same guy who voiced the Arishok voice Iron Bull. That just isn't going to happen.

Keith David was suggested about the time anyone had any idea that there was an Iron Bull.

I'm pensive about that.  And don't get me wrong, I love Keith David- Keith David is amazing. Amazing range.

 

But I just don't know if this is the right fit for him.

 

Ron Perlman, though? This guy is perfect for Ron Perlman.

Actually, "War never changes" sounds like something someone like Iron Bull would say.  Probably after finding a battle or village we were too late to save.

 

As a fun fact, the mold used to make his Hellboy prosthetics were also used to make his Vincent prosthetics.
