The Iron Bull is high, will he have reward (more hit points or attack) or punishment (lower dodge) for that?

I had a feeling the 'Iron Bull' would be for female Qunari only, I'm glad just about anyone can have him.
I want him for my Qunari Mage so, so, so bad!
I said it in another thread and no one killed me, but what if IB's profile of "will jump into bed with anyone he is sure he won't break" means he might be a feared of breaking a ladee?
I have also mauled this over, maybe he sees woman as too fragile to handle all the loving he has to offer, I hope not because I can't see my lady Qunari with anyone else

From a lore perspective, if they were to race-gate Iron Bull's romance, he would probably turn down elves because they are a slender peoples. However, from a programming perspective, elves are the same height as humans and much easier to animate a romance for than dwarves. He could easily say he's not sure how the height difference would work and turn them down on that. Plus, we already have an alternative LI that could easily be a dwarf only LI (Varric). So I still say Iron Bull is going to be the LI for qunari, humans, and elves, and Varric will only be available for dwarves. If I'm right then on the one hand we will have Varric (YAY!) but we will bot be able to romance iron Bull as a dwarf and marvel at the size difference (BOO!). Still, I think it would be the most reasonable compromise. It is a theory I shall hold on to until the day the devs themselves announce LIs, and no one else can convince me differently.
(Maker, can you imagine what it would be like to animate a kiss between Iron Bull and a dwarf? Would the dwarf stand on a table? Would Iron Bull have to pick them up? I would be tearing my hair out in frustration just trying to figure out the mechanics.)

So I tweeted the picture to Patrick.
@PatrickWeekes This was drawn someone on the BSN. It gave us all a good laugh so we thought you might like it. pic.twitter.com/H2Dc05w0xX
@sammy_jaye13 That is AWESOME. Although given the Iron Bull's feelings on dragons, this could easily go another way...
Is this referencing that one image in which IB has the same horns as the dragon behind him? Weren't people theorizing for a while after that about a possible Dragon-Qunari connection?

I swear all these back shots are just way to screw with us. There's no way, they put this many out, and it's not intentional at this point. ![]()

It may be because his face is being redesigned, His facial structure looks a bit different than the earlier image of him from the side but that may just be the perspective.

I'm guessing it's just because his back is all detailed and cool and they worked hard on that so he'd look super dramatic from behind. Why waste perfectly good back sculpting?

Hmmm possibly, I suppose. That really just looks like the left side of his face and it doesn't look really different from the demo. I don't know, the thought amuses me nonetheless.

Yeah but the front of his face is all scared up and has a eye patch. Seems like it would work just as well.

Not sure, but I am really looking forward to finding out the connection.

I think it's the elves you're thinking of, the qunari on the other hand do.

Yeah, with both Salit and IB having beards, I think it's pretty well established now that qunari can grow beards. Which, to me, is awesome because my first playthrough will be a big hulking muscle-y bearded qunari warrior!

SpoilerSpoiler
His face looks pinched here. With the top one I saw a wider face good for smirking and befitting of the voice on Ron Perlman saying, "War...war never changes."

Hmm. It may be because all the Qunari we've seen have been military, so being clean-shaven may be a requirement.
If that's the case, it would make sense for a Tal-Vashoth (or one borderline posing as one, like Iron Bull) would purposely grow out facial hair. It breaks them from the uniformity of Qunari life, without breaching too far outside of the societal norms as to be uncomfortable.

Sten grew a beard too, judging by the comics.

Genetics.
Some Qunari are hornless, and they're generally considered special and put in high roles in society. Really, it's a cover up for a redesign, but it's a believable one I suppose. Weird that every Qunari we saw in DA:O (Sten, merchant dude, Sten's party in the Fade...) all happened to be hornless, though... :S

Eh. The redesign was only needed because the horns they wanted to put in in the first place couldn't because of helmet design problems.
