I'm sure they have a system for that, like giving each other code names or maybe they're just numbered (Sten #1, Sten #2, etc). Or maybe they just know?
And as far as I'm concerned, The Iron Bull is his real name. It probably has more significance to him than being X of the Ben-Hasraath

Maybe so. I'm not even sure if she even stuck with the Qun though.
Maybe not as self-doubting as Iron Bull, but she seemed pretty confused herself.

I think as far as he's concerned, Iron Bull's his real name now as well, which is probably the source of no small amount of conflict for his character.
Wonder if Iron Bull has a real name for us to find out, for that matter...

Sten's original concept sported a goatee, as seen in the Sacred Ashes trailer. He's got it back in the comics.

David Gaider said that among themselves they use nicknames based on those social security numbers they have. So you're not going to have a bunch of Sten's all referring to each other as Sten.
My interest in 'Bull's character shot up measurably after reading what Weekes said about him. At first blush I thought he'd just be a shallow Vashoth character like "Hurr I'm so much happier outside the Qun, yay!" Now it sounds interesting, with him being kind of in the Qun and kind of not.
I can somewhat relate -- with personal beliefs (mostly religious ones) I feel strongly about, but am not strictly following.
He actually sounds a good deal like the qunari Inquisitor I was planning on RP'ing.

The Qunari Inquisitor is a Vashoth, who was never introduced to the Qun and seemingly doesn't live by it.
Another interesting thing I read is that "When Qunari abandon the teachings of Qun they become known as Vashoth in the Qunari society and eventually they have to leave or risk re-education by the Ben-Hassrath."
And Iron Bull apparently still works for the Ben-Hassrath. I just hope that's not left alone, as it would make for an interesting story. Cue the fanfics.
Also that #ridethebull hashtag is my new favorite thing ever.

Iron Bull could maybe try to question qunquisitor about his views on qunari society after forming a friendship? I can imagine Iron Bull questioning his own people after living away from home for such a long time. Perhaps he wants to hear the opinion from another qunari about this complicated manner. Maybe he needs help to sort out his own life?
Our inquisitor coud then maybe push the bull into whatever direction he/she wants to: so away from the qun, or towards it. I could see Varric chirping into such a conversation as well, so it'll evolve into a full-scale argument between the two men.
And theeeen we could save his cute, muscular ass from evil qunari-men, who will want to take him home for re-education. Then we carry him off in our arms and then we build a house on a cliff near an ocean and live happily ever after. The end.

He hasn't been confirmed as LI let alone as Bisexual LI.
Until the devs confirmed that he is/isn't a LI, it's a safe bet to assume he's not a LI until then

I'm a rebel, so I do the complete opposite and assume he's an LI until proven otherwise. Haven't been disappointed yet and I've been using this method since before DA2 & ME2.
I don't recommend this method for everyone, though; however, for oddballs like me, it works. ;D

Now all I can do is picture Bull and my Qunquisitor skipping through a field of flowers. Possibly wearing flower crowns.
