Glad to see this type of dialogue, with him as the PC's buddy.

With this news Iron Bull has moved up significantly in my ''have this companion as a permantent fixture for first playthrough'' list. Freddie is great. I'm actually replaying ME3 with Vega right now so this news could not come at a better time. Hype rekindled, shut up and take my money, Loco.

From his phrase, it seems the romance was similar to the rivarly paths in DA2 (though since they're not back, I guess It's the way that particular romance works). From the cast, I'd say Cass or Vivienne (though we don't know if she's a LI).Yea, that line did have me especially curious.

Eh, as I said already, I'll lost hours in the party selection screen. I'm interested in all the companions (I'm reserving my judgement for Cole).
He might be the only one able to scare the Bull. Demons and stuff ![]()

I don't know, Dorian and Solas' threads seem to be getting on quite well without any information.
We've been running on fumes for a while now >.<
I was a little skeptical of Freddie at first (I always think of She's All That when I see him) but if I close my eyes I get a good IB vibe from his voice. Definitely unexpected, but I'm looking forward to more from him ![]()

Hmm. Possibly, by what Freddie said I think he might fear/be very concerned about Cole.

REALLY hoping IB is the BI romance option. I mean, all signs kind of point to it already and I'm happy he's a romance option at all..just wish that it was confirmed!

Solas' thread is kind of sad, though. It's like...they seemed so close to giving us Solas information, and it's been silence ever since. At least Dorian has a survey description, and we have some information about his VA and an idea of how he ties into the main plot. Solas has become almost Cole-like in his absence.
As for the new video, it would be awesome if they did them for all the major VAs. It's always interesting to see how they connect to the characters and how they work. This one has pushed me over the edge of my doubt regarding Iron Bull as a character; I love that FPJ clearly has a lot of love and enthusiasm for games and how that translates into his approach.

Yea; while I still think Ron Perlman would have been a better choice, I really like Jr.'s drive towards the project; he seems genuinely excited by it and about the character, so I'm hopeful he'll give a really solid performance.

It's a tough competition for sure!
Vivienne thread: 150 pages
The Iron Bull thread: 152 pages
Cullen thread: 1642 pages (now beat THAT)
Solas thread: 290 pages (impressive considering how little information we have)
Scribbles thread: 37 pages
Dorian thread: 212 pages (also impressive!)
Sera's thread: 204 pages
Cole thread: 56 pages
Cassandra thread: 135 pages
Varric thread: 27 pages
Blackwall thread: 99 pages
Leliana thread: 62 pages
Conclusion: the size of a thread is inversely proportional to the amount of information available on the thread's character ![]()
Except for Cullen. And Scribbles. No one seems to care about Scribbles ![]()

Agreed. I liked the fact that he actually knows part of the lore of the game.Yea; while I still think Ron Perlman would have been a better choice, I really like Jr.'s drive towards the project; he seems genuinely excited by it and about the character, so I'm hopeful he'll give a really solid performance.

I haven't posted in Cullen's thread, but I've peaked in there a few times; from the looks of it there's a lot of general, off topic discussion. Almost like it's its own subforum.

I love him, never would have guessed he was IB's voice but I am so excited that he is. If it's even possible I think I love Iron a Bull even now

I can't remove the mental imagery of the Iron Bull blurting out something Spanish.

I'm gone for a day and I come back to find that I've missed all this? This is wonderful! His voice is so funny, it has so much character. Freddie's description of him was great. James Bond is such a fun description, and surprisingly accurate: a spy who tells everyone his name and has sex with lots of people, apparently. The possible romance confirmation was great, too. This has been a good day.

My only disappointment is that the clips they showed of FPJ doing the Iron Bull voice were all in the same tone - I wish we could have heard more inflection or range - but I understand they're probably keeping the good bits off-camera. That being said, FPJ was good as Vega in ME and even though I never anticipated his involvement at all I think he'll do a good job.
And Karin Weekes basically confirming his LI status moves him up as the #1 victim on my fQuizzie/1st playthrough list.

I think they were showing party banter so that they wouldn't give away too much of the plot.
