What's the big deal with subtitles anyway? Does their existance somehow insult the voice actors? Is playing without them is the only way to "appreciate the actors for the work they did"? Are we subtitles-users somehow not appreciate their work by using subtitles?
These are just lines of text which appear on the screen, no big deal, not problematic, not bad, good, even, for people who have hard time understanding speech

Nobody has been saying death to subtitles! People have simply given legitimate reasons why they, themselves, prefer either subtitles on or off. Chill out.

That's the point: we have diffirent tastes, there is no need to pop out with a super important opinion: "Well, yeah BUT I don't do that because..." every time someone says something in support of subtitles

There isn't a reason for people to give their personal opinions? The internet would be a very empty place (apart from porn) were that the case. I actually love hearing why people do or don't like things (I love psychology) and I actually got a great idea to help me brush up on my Russian from this very topic (somehow playing a game with Russian V.O's or subtitles never crossed my mind).

I love the voice they picked for him too, Freddie Prinze Jr. did a really good demonstration of what iron bull will sound like, I can't wait for the game even more than I already haveXD I hope we get more information on him or other less known charactersXD

This. My first language is Japanese and sometimes, despite  being fluent in English words get lost on me or sound  like gibberish . It helps to read it and hear it , especially with dialects/accents!

Fully agree, some western accents are quite strong.

Well it is official, the Iron Bull is a romance. But will race or gender play into it. I imagine he will be a female only romance, with special points if you are Qunari. Just my opinion.

I see no reason to believe he'd be a female only LI, I think racegating is a guarantee though

If he is really a LI, he is going to be the first non-pretty Li in dragon age. At last some variety!! I was a little bored of handsome blonde/white haired boys. And Iron Bull is a interesting fella, fun, sexy, good voice and friendly if he doesnt hate mages with all his might he might get lucky. My Hawke will be very displeased with my decision to bed know him, but who cares about her , she was with Anders and look how that turned up in the end...

Totally agree. I love Alistair, Anders and Cullen, but they're all so….basic. Few of the DAI companions/advisors are conventionally attractive which is awesome. Kudos to the designers!

 

Considering that he's friends with Vivienne, Bull shouldn't have a problem with a Mage!Inquisitor. My LadyMage was going to romance Cullen, but she's having second thoughts at the moment    . Though I wonder if Bull would take issue with a Necromancer since he hates demons and raising the dead is inching kinda close to that?

I was wondering that as well. I was planning on playing as a Necromancer Qunari in my first play-through but if that scares or pisses off Iron Bull, I'm more inclined to pick another specialization
