Anyone else think Clancy Brown would be a great voice actor for our beloved Bull? I dunno, I've had the idea stuck in my head since I first saw the character. Anyways, I normally lurk, but I was so pleased to find this thread. 

 

I'm rather partial to Patrick Warburton myself.

I feel like Warburton could be either magnificent, or so, so bad. Like, no middle ground there.

I do like Warburton, but I'm feeling all kinds of "noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" on him being cast as Iron Bull.

 

Mainly I'm hoping Iron Bull won't be as comedy heavy as, say, Oghren. I want him to have a sense of humor, of course, but I don't want him to be a joke.

I think Ron Perlman can do "menacing and intimidating" better than anyone else mentioned.

 

Which isn't to say that they can't do it well, just that they're no Ron Perlman.

Iron Bull looks like a fun guy. I think he'd be fast buddies with my Quizzy. Especially with my QunQuizzy....They could go hunting cookies together!

One of the reasons I have high hopes for Iron Bull is that unlike some of the other companions who look primed to be mouth pieces for certain political points of view, Iron Bull is really a guy who's gonna have to stand on his own merits. I'm sure he'll offer us insight into the Qun we've lacked before, but for the most part, what'll make or break this guy as a character is his personality, not a cause he's attached to.

I wouldn't mind them working in a reference to Sten's cookie love, I just hope it isn't a big one. Guy's been out of the Qun for a while now, by all appearances; I imagine cookies are old news to him. Something he enjoys, but won't get overly excited about.

It doesn't seem the type to accept working for someone just because they threaten him to kill him in case of refusal.
For what the leak suggested he and Sera might be needed by the Inquisitor for their forces: mercenaries and a network of rogues/thiefs.
