Totally worth it. It's a solid game. Great story (per Bioware style) and very interesting gameplay mechanics.
The characters are great, including Black Whirlwind. Yes, I get that vibe from him a bit as well, but IB seems a bit more carefree. He's definitely shaping up to be one of my fav characters this game, I think.
I really want IB to basically be Sagacious Whirlwind.

Here he is btw :

he is like a cross between IB (le hair honrs
), Blackwall (beard of the apocalypse) and Varric (with all that chest hair lol
)
I liked his personality in Jade empire, but i feel that Iron bull will be enven more badass and awesome ![]()
Edit: and btw i said some time ago that IB would be the next James Vega and then when we got that under the horns video i was like "oh oh" ![]()

Hm, I wonder about one line from P.Weekes - "See, Bull is funny. He does hate demons, but if you're on the team, you're on the team."
Does that mean, that IB gets along with everyone? Since, essentially, all of your companions are on the team.

Iron Bull may not initially get along with everyone but he will at least attempt to do so even if it's out of his comfort zone. At least that's what I took from the quote.

I think so, his character profile says he is the Varric of DAI (the casual team guy). He still have friction with people who don't like his association to the Qun or personality. He might "likes" everyone, it doesn't mean everyone "likes" him back.

Ironically, it also mentioned that Varric is one companion he just doesn't get along with, because Iron Bull doesn't apologize for what he is and that rubs Varric the wrong way.

So long as his fate is closer to Whirlwind's than to Sagacious Zu's I'll be fine with that.

Late to the party, but... damn it, we have to deal with an actual qunari?

Well, I do think he might be conflicted, and he's certainly enjoying a lifestyle forbidden by the Qun...but yes, he's still officially part of the Qun.Late to the party, but... damn it, we have to deal with an actual qunari?
Personally, i found this Discover really interesting.

I woudn't personally have problem with either, as I woudn't with a magister, a demon/spirit (despite my general concern of Fade entities) and a leader of the mage rebellion.

The magister's a renegade, but do we know that Solas is a leader of the mage rebellion now?

Sorry, I was taking in general. We don't have a templar companion after all.The magister's a renegade, but do we know that Solas is a leader of the mage rebellion now?
And no, we don't. I guess we might know more when they'll reveal Solas.

Even though he apparently gets along well with at least one of the team's mages, and the resident demon?

I was pleased to hear that Varric and Iron Bull won't get along, just because I think it will be refreshing to see Varric disagree with someone. I feel like it would be a bit boring if Varric was friends with everyone like he was in DA2.

Yeah, pretty sure IB isn't going to ever give off the 'typical Qunari' impression, so I don't think anyone will really have to worry about that. At most I see him conflicted with it because he feels guilty about having the identity crisis of not wanting to really be part of it anymore. I don't think he would do the things he does if he was still committed to it.

Well Qunari do take their role very very seriously.
He's supposed to spy as a mercenary , he's just being professional about it.
He's like a method actor.

Ah, I see what you mean. True... I honestly forgot about the part where he is still working as a spy. Well, I'm sure he's enjoying blending in. haha

I wonder how dorian and iron bull interact, I' don't think they'll be very friendly.
I pretty much see iron bull like isabella was in da2... pretty much can get along with anyone, but maybe has one person he really doesnt gel with... surprisingly i think its gonna be varric that he doesnt get along with well

I think Iron Bull will work for fade portals being closed. The inquisition probably funds weapons and food but I don't know how much of a salary you expect from an order that has to fund saving the world.
Although it is funny to wonder if increasing salary for your companions increases their battle capabilities.

I imagine there might be some tension between Iron Bull and Dorian; one's a member of the Ben-Hassrath, one's a Tevinter Magister. Their nations are actively at war, and while both have issues with how their people do things, neither seems unpatriotic.
