Iron Bull and Dorian both seem to have big personalities and it was said that they'll have a complicated relationship... A love triangle where they fight over the Quizzy could be interesting, but I don't think I could ever string one of them along that way.

I was just re-reading iron bulls writer interview and even though i really like the sound of him... i might not actually let him join me in my first playthrough (if that is even an option), crazy as it sounds. Im just not to keen on him sending reports back to the Qunari, i think i will take issue with that... If he does not drop the subject, then he won't be joining.
On a first playthrough I tend to try and make smart decisions, even if they lose me content... like when i killed off Zevran, couldn't trust him. We will see though, can't decide yet, its just something im thinking about.

And that's exactly one of the reasons why I will be welcoming Iron Bull in with open arms. What's happening now is much, much bigger than any conflict with the Qunari -- it threatens us all. I'd much rather keep the Qunari abreast of the situation than leave them in the dark to become increasingly paranoid and potentially turn into yet one more problem to deal with.
Besides, my Inquisitor is going to strive for a better tomorrow for everyone. Peaceful coexistence can't happen if we're constantly treating each other as enemies.

It's funny to me that Iron Bull is the character that apparently gets along with everyone the most. I wonder what a party with Dorian, IB, and Vivienne would be like since Dorian and Vivienne are supposedly always at each others throats but they both have an odd friendship with Bull. It would be funny if on a particularly rough day he did lie, but in a really obvious way. "Ohhh THAT Qunari messenger we killed? Na, didn't mention that."
