Why? He said he'll jump into bed with anyone he doesn't think will break. That to me says he's really open sexually. I figured he'd be one of the bi options.

 

If anything, this reinforces my theory that Varric is race-gated, and I would guess Solas as the other one.

Last piece of news for you all. Since so many people are interested in romances I'll confirm a few things for you.

* There's 8 romances.
* Only 2 of those have any racial preferences (for story reasons)

I just see him as possibly being cut off from Dwarves, for technical issues they've talked about. Not that I even want that, I would love to romance him with a Dwarf myself. I figure he'll be a bi option as well.

They said the race-gated thing was due to story, not technical issues. I think we can rest easy about that.

In that case, I would be seriously happy. So thanks for the info! That really helps my hope that Varric will be an LI as well, because I figured he would be race-gated even moreso.

 

Man, if we get Varric and Bull, I'mma throw myself a party, lol. Which will probably just consist of me dancing happily in a (hopefully) empty room somewhere.

You can say the samething about humans and dwarves in dao but they are not. It's an assumption at this point. Really, dwarves are way more sturdy then human but they can't sleep with qunari?

Well I hope it's going to be well done , I've suffered from PTSD a couple of years ago and I get tired of the whole PTSD is some sort of romantic thing people can fix with their "love" or whatever.

It's not just about having a couple of nightmare and being a bit stressed out.

I would've thought Vivienne would be the other (instead of Solas) so there's an even gender split ?
