Well I hope it's going to be well done , I've suffered from PTSD a couple of years ago and I get tired of the whole PTSD is some sort of romantic thing people can fix with their "love" or whatever.

It's not just about having a couple of nightmare and being a bit stressed out.

I'm quite curious now. I've seen someone suffer from PTSD their entire life and get really angry with that trope too.

I have faith in PW though, and I hope it will be shown realistically.

If he's going to be an LI (which I'm almost certain of), I'm also almost certain he'll be bisexual. It fits more evenly into the pattern/chart of the LI's so far. 

 

Of course they said it can't "all be fair", but given Bull's description, I think my assumption is pretty safe. xP

God if he's a love interest than my Elf boy is gonna have a tough decision to make between him and Dorian, unless Bull is racegated against elves or isn't bi at all to which would just make my choice easier ;_; but still sad. I can never be happy xD

Yeah, it was to be expected. While I like to be optimistic, I kind of expect him to really be just a fling and not a real romance option. Every other question that mentioned character xy being a possible LI, was answered with a "we can't reveal that, yet. Sorry.". Questions concerning IB however are answered with "he likes to bang".

Wouldn't the devs be as discreet with him, as with the other followers, if Iron Bull was really a LI?

* Only 2 of those have any racial preferences (for story reasons)

Story reasons? Bull doesn't want to hurt a more physically "delicate" partner, so could that be "story reasons" for race-gating? I don't even know what that means though. Just female elves? Some male elves are pretty tough. Just dwarves? Most dwarves, men and women alike, are also tough.

I still think Varric will be one of the race-gated romances. They are just keeping so unbelievably tight-lipped when it comes to him though. *shakes fist at Bioware*

 

So in my mind, that leaves one more for race-gated. I prefer to think that they would have mentioned race-gating once they reveal the LI and their orientation, but I know that BW has a sadistic streak at times. Plus, I just like to remain positive about it. Thus, I look at the "anyone who he thinks he won't break" comment as an indication of his openness, not how the player could be blocked from him. (I hope I just made sense. I need to eat lunch. )
