there is this one troll on the GaymerX 2014 thread who was saying pretty insulting stuff to people who want to romance the Iron Bull with another race (not Qunari)

And I'm just happy that there aren't many fans like him around  because then the dreams of a Dwarf romancing Iron Bull or even Human romancing Iron Bull would have been shattered to pieces

As for the naysayers... who the heck cares what they think? I was planning on romancing Bull with either a human female or an elf female. I hadn't decided which, and nobody is going to convince me I should "keep it in race". Just let those negative people go be miserable by themselves and ignore their posts.

 

As for someone else in the party becoming enamored over Bull, I wouldn't mind, but I don't think that a party member would leave over it. Could there be drama? Perhaps, though I secretly hope there is not a lot. Maybe a line or two and then move on.

A relationship with Iron Bull and your Inquisitor would probably be unpopular with those around you. The Ben-Hassrath wouldn't be too happy with it either. I can imagine a dialogue piece like "You've forsaken your own people for that < insert human, elf, dwarf, Tal-Vasoth > ?".

W000 page 200 God Bull's so hot, but so is Dorian, I'm still torn between them hahah. It's gonna have to boil down to personality. Bull seems a lot more jokey and light hearted but I have a feeling that Dorian is more charming @_@ I wonder if they'll do character trailers like they did in DAO, doubt it since they already gave out so much info.

Thats a way to go about it. I don't know if he'll get Anders level of preachy but if I recall correctly it was mentioned that Iron Bull and Varric might not get on well so I could at least see him giving the Inquisitor a strong recommendation to really think this thing out.

I'd tell him to mind his own business, and I LOVED Varric in the last game. In fact, I hope Varric is available in this game, but nobody is going to dictate who I should hook up with.

Considering how mad he is at Anders in DA2 when he talks to Cassandra, I highly doubt he'd start acting like Anders.

Haters gonna hate. As for in-game characters reactions, I highly doubt any of them would get so upset they would leave because of it...and even if they did, I wouldn't want them there anyway if that's how narrow-minded they are... plus it's not their business anyway.

Absolutely. I could definitely see Varric having some concerns because of the whole fiasco with the Arishok. I'm a firm believer that Varric has been changed by what he witnessed in DA2, so I don't expect him to be exactly the same as he was in DA2, but I think he'll still be the cheeky bastard that he is .

 

I do expect there to be some friction between him and Bull, and I also look forward to seeing if they can overcome that.
