I think it's more to do with height and weight. He's bigger than the qunari PCs, and that mage towered over everyone else.

I kind of really want to know what the male Qunari's physique will look like, hopefully it's not as slender as the females and a bit more muscle, wouldn't mind the height being slightly smaller either. It might sound silly but my only niggle I have with the Iron Bull is that no matter what he's going to be the more dominant one, my Inquisitor is blatantly going to end up more let's say... passive.
So people think that he'd crush them in bed? Theres a such thing as having the smaller partner be on top to avoid that
Now, my male qunari mage and IB will need an extra iron reinforced bed, or jump directly to the floor, because this is going to be very heavy on weight terms.

When someone found a solution to the problems, he was no longer gated (but two still are). Apparently that was a hint they were dropping. He's also a warrior, it's possible that he is quite strong and has to watch himself interacting with people in general lest his handshakes fling people through the air.

It depends on how you see your Inquisitor. Even he/she is extremely aggressive, I don't see Bull making a fuss about being the passive one. It might even be more practical that you literally #ridethebull. If they're a Qunari, regardless of gender and class, I'd like to think you fight for dominance.

I am very glad that they went back and worked hard to get the gates dropped though I'm extremely grateful for everyone who busted their butts for that to be possible.

As am I. I've always found the cross-social class/race romances to be some of the more interesting ones.

I'm not sure, I don't think they gave specifics about it. It might have been during the raptr Q&A that they answered these questions.
My first time romancing the Iron Bull will be with a fellow queer mage Qunari Inquisitor, but I have to admit I'm really curious about romancing him with a male dwarf Inquisitor. That size difference 
It's awesome that Bull is available for romances including sexual behaviour though. Related to this I'll say that the counter-argument for romancing Joker in ME3 was that "he would break," and people were arguing that people could be gentle, or whatever; my argument was that not all romantic relationships involve intercourse (whether because of disability or personal choice), and it could've been decided that this was how the Inquisitor and Bull's relationship would be - I'm glad that this does not seem to be the case for his story arc, but it is something I would like to see them explore eventually - which would be different than exploring an a-sexual relationship as Gaider has previously discussed.

I'd be perfectly fine with a romance that had no sex in it I just mainly would like at least a kiss scene and for it to be a romance unlike what they tried with Sebastian's chaste romance. It would be interesting to see a romance approached from that angle though if done right. I'm sure they could still have it feel like a romance even without sex as opposed to Sebastian's romance which felt like an add on after thought to me that wasn't very well implemented but that's just my opinion.

I don't think his voice acting was bad in ME3. I found Vega to be a boring and rather pointless character but that wasn't Freddie's fault.
