It was also a  bad  playful jab at the fact that in the DA world the offspring of humans and elves are always human because of magic.

Actually, I think Gaider once explained a little bit about hybrids (I don't like saying halflings because that implies a specific race from D&D) other than elves, namely dwarf/human matches. Apparently it's extremely rare, but when it does happen you get a person who could pass as either an extremely short human, or an extremely tall dwarf.

Avan (The name of Kurgy's Elf) Is a cutie tbh, I think his design is awesome and tbh I'd want to romance him ;D 

 

 

More on/off topic, I made a submission to the petquisition thread equating my shihtzu tot he lovable bull himself!

 

 

This is Happy, he's my shih-tzu Maltice mix, and I think he represents Iron Bull the most because he loves to have fun but protective but he loves to be hyper and just be a total dork. He's also a sloot because he loves licking all of my friends whenever they pet him once. But I can't help it becuase he's absolutely irresistible. He also has an underbite too, so that could be his horns?

Just imagining him waking up earlier than everybody else to shave the beard off (but not too much, he loves lots of stubbles) and waxing his chest. I don't know but the image is a bit surreal to me. I associate qunari with something terrifying and non-human, not giving a crap about body-aesthetics.

IMHO qunari simply don't grow chest hair? We've seen lots of halfnaked qunari dudes and not a single hair on their chests. They're like elves: grow hair on head and nowhere else. Plus bears, ovcurz

Idk i just find it strange they grow beards and not chest hair? Girls grow hair on their bodies, too,  after all
