Not that all the Bull innuendoes aren't endlessly entertaining, but is there a working theory on how the Bull got his eye patch?

 

I guess it's one of those things we can't know for sure, or even speculate on, until we get more information but I really want to know things, gahhh.

 

I think right now everything would be speculation (naturally). He does look like he's led a hard life... maybe that's sort of why he's lightened up over the years and has this "devil may care" attitude. 

 

I hope to pick his brain about his past a bit though. But there's a chance he won't want to talk about it, which I could understand.

That's a good guess! I was thinking he will certainly have a story to tell us about his eye, at some point. Especially if romanced or a good friend.

Of Course! Hell I'm hoping for a less dirty and more sweet romance with the guy anyway but its hard not to get sucked into the dirty humor on this thread x3

Well he does have some pretty nasty scars (and by nasty I mean awesome) over his eye so I'm guessing either its bad enough that it needs to be covered or he just thought it looked badass which is does completely x3

Considering that Iron Bull is really only freaked out by demons perhaps he lost it to an Abomination? While the Arvaraad are tasked with dealing with the Saarebas, if one or more of them get taken over and overpower their minders you've got the equivalent of a misplaced nuclear weapon on your hands.

Perhaps Iron Bull and some of his Ben-Hessrath compatriots were sent in to deal with such an event only to run into something similar to the Broken Circle quest? The issue was taken care of but it kind of marked the point in Bull's career where he started to get a little burnt out.

I am definitely hoping for something like this. yes, the "grrrr" is all good, but it would be a nice surprise to find some sweetness under that bravado.
