Lol yeahhh, Rhea Adaar is going to be a knight enchanter, so I wanted her staff to be more martial looking 

 

I was originally just going to make it a spear, but the original design wasn't looking right so I scrapped it and it turned into a halberd xD

 

Although, a lot of staffs in DA2 had spear heads, so maybe they'll continue that into DAI

I know this is way off the Iron Bull topic but how are people coming up with names that would fit the setting already? Is there some sort of witch craft at work? Cause I want in on it I don't like that none of my Inquisitors don't have names yet TT^TT

I do one of two things: I spend a few hours browsing "Behind the Name" or another name website until I find something I like. (Usually I have either a language or a first letter in mind when I start this)

 

Or I start stringing random syllables together until something starts to sound right... or a combination of both.

I actually can't come up with the name until I'm in the CC. The character often tells me who they are. The only thing I have an idea of is their class and somewhat their attitude (diplomatic, impulsive, etc.). As they are created in the CC, their whole background hits me.

 

But when writing stories, I have turned to name websites. they are certainly handy.

This might have already been mentioned but does Iron Bull remind anyone of The Black Whirlwind or Raging Ox? The way he fights is just really reminiscent of those characters. Maybe it's just me...

My Qunari Mage Inquisitor will be named Aegaeon Adaar. I don't know what the name for my Dwarf on my 2nd playthrough will be though. I seem to have been naming a lot my DA characters with A at the start.  On my first playthroughs I had Xesthan Aeducan (Dwarf Noble) and Akira Hawke. 2nd playthroughs I had, Alonzo Mahariel (Dalish Elf) and Agis Hawke.
