He has a very samurai feel to him. He reminds me of Mitsurugi.

Found out what food he is, chillie dog.
Do you have a source for that?

I need the Iron Bull to be romancable. He -has- to be. Watching Inquisitors of the smaller races, especially Dwarves, riding around on his shoulders would be SO adorable. I can sense how glorious the fanart will be already.
Though... Big Bull strikes me as a warrior, being all muscular and scarred (Not to mention his massive sword). I generally only keep one warrior in my party to tank, so if a particular templar is a companion as well, I'll be severely torn between them. ![]()

He does doesn't he. Maybe it's because both pictures scream 'I'm a badass'

Apparently he has one eye.
I wonder if any of his armor upgrades includes an eye patch?

So, if he is in fact a chilli dog, what does that say about him?
Simple, easy, beloved by all?
Gives you heartburn, but you love it anyway?
Fastest thing alive?

._. Maybe he was a fine lean cut twenty years prior to DAI, but we see him well past prime rib age if you know what i mean ![]()

Just like I'll be surprised if Varric doesn't make some remark like "Let's show these humans how it's done" to a dwarf inquisitor, I bet the Iron Bull is going to have some things to say about Qunari Inquisitors, especially female ones. Or female mage ones. I could see the writers using him as a way to give our Inquisitor's backstory some exposition outside the prologue.
Oh, how about some more speculation?
Maybe his introduction will be different for a Qunari Inquisitor. Maybe he'll hear about what we're doing and like/dislike how we're putting the Tal'Vashoth in the spotlight. If he fears only the past, that probably means the Ben'Hassrath are hunting for him so he can be reeducated in the Qun. One of the best ways to get away from them would be to throw his lot in with a budding world leader like the Inquisitor and a fellow Tal'Vashoth would be more sympathetic.

I don't know if this was ever dispelled, but I remember (quite awhile back) that some people thought he could possibly be Maraas from DA2?

Maraas doesn't fight for causes.

I wonder if he'll be as tough as the Arishok. I know it would be hilarious if we watched enemies go like this.
...
That video always makes me laugh. And he better be tougher than the Arishock. He looks like a behemoth.

The Arishok is supposedly supposed to be the "strongest" of the Antaam." Along with being its highest General ![]()
