What if Iron Bull will be killed near the end of the game by qunari in front of your eyes, because he abandoned the Qun by starting a relationship with you?

 

Or he gets posessed by a demon and you have to kill him?

 

Or he betrays you, in which case I'm gonna kick that ass back to his home country. I doubt that, though.

 

I really hope some romances won't end like Thane and your LI has to die at the end. It's a game about choice, I need a happy-ending choice. Especially after ME3 ...

I'm gonna pray for drama. Just drama. No deaths. 

 

(He could have been talking about Solas in case he's even romancable, no?)

 

 

I agree with you, though. I've had enough death. I've had enough drama too, tbh, though I like drama to an extent... as long as it doesn't get like... Anders  relationship drama. Pls no, Bioware. I've suffered enough.

Yeah, Anders was a dramatic individualXD anyway, some drama is good, too much drama/angst/sadness just ruins a subplot of romance for me.

Iron Bull the confirmed romance I'm most looking forward to might end only in sadness? Yeah that sounds about right, most characters I tend to be drawn to very quickly seem to die off quickly and in horrible ways too. I can see it now, Iron Bull gets possessed and we have to put him down, Josephine gets killed in an assault on the keep, Blackwall is torn apart by darkspawn and Varric and Bianca reunite only for him to be shot to death by her. Characters I love die so often I don't even think I think twice about it any more

To be fair, we don't know that it's even about Iron Bull.

 

But it probably is.

 

But we also don't know that it's actually tragic, just emotional.

Quite honestly, after I read "Baby Bull" and in the split-second before I saw the actual image...considering the lighthearted "Bull Princesses" series that has graced this thread, I was half-expecting it to be Iron Bull in a diaper baby costume.

I mean, he has the potential for it, but there's probably different ways it can go, from happy to sad.  Plus, Sheryl's words "I'm just... not a romantic. Romance always freaks me out." Makes me think it's just something "ultra gushy", in which case I understand her, because I react similarly to ultra-gushy stuff. If they are talking about Bull at all, that is.

I mean, he has the potential for it, but there's probably different ways it can go, from happy to sad.  Plus, Sheryl's words "I'm just... not a romantic. Romance always freaks me out." Hopefully that's what they mean gushy and not tragic. I just tend to notice that most characters I get attached to die in not very pretty ways either so I shall still be cautious that and Bioware loves the fan tears, you think its their secret to eternal youth with how much they feed on the stuff
