Who knows maybe there's quest when everybody gets drunk and some , Inquisitor included , get some tattoos?

This is the first time we see the tattoos, so they may be optional; as in some quest thingy like Reznore said, or it´s armor related, i mean it could just be paint...or they changed his design...
No tattoos...
