You are not. I like Iron Bull a lot and I thought the picture was well done but I'm not having an extreme reaction to it one way or the other either. Though I could just be a weirdo.^^;

Now that we know the Qunari Inquisitor is a mercenary as well, I wonder if IB has some experience with our Inquisitor's particular merc band, as the name sounds very Qunari-esque and he might keep tabs on a bunch of Vashoth and Tal-Vashoth. 

 

In any event, I hope we can bond over swapping merc stories or something.

I'm really curious about our possibly knowing Iron Bull as a qunari merc. Even if we don't he's probably going to have a lot to talk about with a Qunquisitor. It's almost enough to sway me away from romancing him as a dwarf, but I'm still really into the size difference. Oh well, I've got a plan to be a qunari mage my fourth playthrough so it'll be fine. They'll be great friends.

I think the Qunari Inquisitor having never been part of the Qun in the first place is the more likely option, seeing as having them leave it on their own will would kind of force players who actually support the Qun to be against it.

after much deliberation choosing between Iron Bull or Dorian I've finally decided to ridethebull for sure my first playthrough with my elven magequisitor. I'm really excited.

Yes, it is worded oddly. So we have never been but reject it? I'm not sure how people who are interested in supporting the qun would react or be allowed to express themselves.

The Qunari are a race of horned giants who follow a strict religious text known as the Qun. Those who have abandoned its principles are known as Tal-Vashoth and often work as mercenaries. Qunari characters get a bonus of 50 to Health.

 

From the character selection (I chose rogue for this):

You are Tal-Vashoth, a Qunari who has rejected the Qun and never even lived in Qunari lands. As part of the Valo-kas mercenary company, you have earned a living by your own wits and the strength of your blade, ignoring the fearful looks you receive from those around you. Most recently the company was sent to the Chantry conclave as hired swords meant to keep the peace between mages and templars—a task that has gone horribly wrong.

 

Selected a mage next:

Bull runs the Bull's Chargers merc group. We are from the Valo-kas company. I think it would be interesting to talk with him as a qunari merc, especially if they were rivals. That would be fun. I hope there is specific dialogue for it.
