So is the Iron Bull a Reaver or is it just for sort of gameplay mechanics?

 

I'm guessing he has a history with dragons which explains him being a reaverr (or as the comics hinted, maybe all qunari are partially dragonblooded)

I have completely misunderstood the race-restricted romance in DA:I. It's not one of the 2 unrelieved, it's 2 of ALL of the romance-options? Suddenly my Male Dwarf's romance with Iron Bull are in danger!

No worries, it isn't. Iron Bull and Josephine are the only two we know for certain who don't have any restrictions right now.

Nope, it was said that it didn't matter which gender OR race you picked. You can still romance him as a male dwarf, no worries

Your dwarfs are in no danger my friend for Iron Bull is open to all races for romance that has been confirmed! Him and Josephine are the only two to be confirmed with no race gates.

I hope my qunari can wear some of the same styled outfits as him, i just feel like a male qunari who isnt exposing his chest is over dressed. It must be an intimidation tactic

I was remembering something one of the Devs (I am thinking Gaider) said about IB's romance making a dent, as in heavily impacting your relationship with your fellow companions. The only companions I think would have an issue with the Qizzy hooking up with IB are Varric (qunari attack ), Cullen and Cassandra (religious views) and maybe dorian due to tevinter and the qunari fighting all the time. What do yall think?

Hmm, I don't remember the quote but I think many of the companions could have misgivings about it since he's spying for the Qun. It's likely not simply a cultural/racial objection.
