Iron Bull is getting his mankisses on with my Dude Qunariquisitor.  I enjoy the idea of two atypical Qunari being together.

My initial plan was on my third run through to make a fem-dwarf inquisitor who looked as much like Bianca(the dwarf, not the crossbow) as I could get with the CC and romance Bull with her to mess with Varric; not that the game would acknowledge it, but for my own amusement. 

 

Now I think I might do it with a female elf to mess with Solas, but I haven't committed to anything yet.

I plan to eventually make a mage for Cullen and have her look as close as possible to my female mage in Origins. I understand the urge completely.

I wonder if the inquisitor is an elf or a female dwarf will IB bring that up in the "mayhem" banter with Sera? Obviously as a Qunari Inquisitor the only ones small enough to throw will be Varric or Sera but the Inquisitor could be a potential projectile too

My elfy Inquisitor would actually let him do it, too. Provided he did a couple practice throws outside of combat first.

First from my human male Inquisitor, then probably from my Qunari mage male Inquisitor, then most likely my female human Inquisitor and then my male and possibly female elf inquisitor. XD

me I don't know if its the height difference or in general how massive he is

That's how I feel about everyone who is above my 5'2-ness (tiny) 

I don't mind the other pairing with Iron Bull but I'm going to romance him with my F!Qunari Mage which is my first playthrough

I thought I might have a size issue with the elves and stuff as well, but I have yet to see how it plays out in-game.
From what I've seen in the trailers the human inquisitors at least aren't that much smaller than Iron Bull and I'll see how my elf looks next to him and then make up my mind. Seeing how I've got a friend who's barelly 1,5 m tall who had a boyfriend the size of 2,04 m who was well-built and it worked out, I can see a possibility between the Iron Bull and an elf as well.

I think if I didn't have that as reference and didn't have an own experience with a boyfriend obviously taller than me, I'd probably be totally in the same boat as you and 'it would not feel right'.

The initial plan was a way to stick it to the race gates by leaving them for an ungated character they disliked(this plan was conceived when Varric was one of the more viable candidates for gated LI).

 

Now, well, honestly I'm curious as to why Solas is gated at all as it doesn't make much sense with everything else we know about his character. So I'd like to try pursuing the romance far enough to find out, if possible.

 

Then dump him for Iron Bull.
