/sigh It seems half the time Iron Bull is mentioned people are complaining about his being a stereotype. Now, I know bisexual who likes casual sex is a trope and is often written very poorly but we haven't met Bull to judge on the second and bisexuals like that do exist and there's nothing wrong with them. I can't help getting a bit disheartened when I keep hearing "oh no, not again" and other very negative things as if the only acceptable bi character would be one who only has sex in committed relationships or something. I suppose it's the same feeling butch lesbians must have when people say they don't want another butch stereotype (not in DA, as we haven't had those). It's like you're doing your sexuality wrong by not staying miles away from the stereotype, like your representation is unwanted.
I think people are just disappointed to see the trope repeated a third time. And when your choices are already limited, it gets a little frustrating, maybe because you were hoping for a different "kind" of romance this time... Not that you genuinely have a problem with people who enjoy casual sex.
I mean, we're talking about idealized romances that people can role-play in, not passing judgment on real life people, never that

and most people, when they envision a romantic storyline, the love interest is devoted to him/her, takes intimacy seriously, considers him/her "special" ... It's a fantasy you understand ^^
