Ashaad was just the sort of qunari LI I was hoping for  Gorgeous and stoic... um... I mean, I know we only meet him after he's kicked the bucket but you know. I was hoping for a traditional qunari type, with that lovely DA2 qunari form.

I don't think you need to clarify, I (and I assume others) also got the assumption that he was reserved and caring in his affections of Seamus. (:

About the whole Saemus/Ashaad thing, I always felt that was very one sided

I'd be okay with this, tbh  I wouldn't mind helping him get over his troubles, or at least share them and try to face them. Maybe he scoffs at the thought of having issues from his past at first and gets by on dirty jokes and innuendos, but as his feelings for the PC grow, he's able to admit some stuff and maybe relieve some of that burden

I wouldn't be overcome by it, so yes, I would be okay with it too ... I'd only be hoping against it because if he is simply happy in being who he is, what he is, an embarrassment to the Qun or otherwise, I would see this behaviour as having its merits and also being interesting to explore.

This picture gives me a very Darkness a la Legend vibe, and now I cannot unsee the comparison.  I regret nothing.

 

 

That also has me thinking on the subject of sexy voices.  I think FPJ does a great job (from what we've heard) of sounding nothing like himself, but I don't know if I'd say I found his IB voice sexy.  Voices are a really big thing for me in making a character attractive, so I hope once we get to hear more I'll dig it a bit better.

yeah, I'm still kinda of no opinion about his voice because I've only really heard one sample from the gameplay demo awhile back. Have we had any more examples since? I'm sure if I love his character enough I'll get to like it no matter what anyway, but I'm curious.

When I heard that FPJ was going to voice Iron Bull I expected him to have the same voice as Vega. I was completely blown away by his VA video. I think he's doing a great job, and will love to hear his deep drawling whisper in my headset. xD <33

I think that has something to do with it, honestly!  When I listen to IB I'm watching FPJ pulling his mouth all wide and straining his neck to push out this weird (for him) voice, I'm pairing the visual too much with the sound.
