Interesting

What kind of world state is has to be to be rare? Maybe if we romance neither of them... hmm... or... ah, I just can't wait to learn about it

Probably if you try to romance them both and Cass tries to give IB a beatdown after he propositions her for the inevitable threesome.

Maybe if you romance both but then leave them, they talk about how it's for the best and you weren't that great in bed anyway.

LOL.

I'm thinking it might be something like that... well, the romance them and leave them part at least. Maybe they'll form a new bond over heartbreak. :P

You can't romance more than one person in DAI. Once the romance starts, it locks you out of the others. Mass Effect 3 did the same.

Maybe you can dump one person mid-romance, then after the romance is over start a new romance with a different character. That's more what I was thinking. So in this scenario it would be romance Bull for a bit, dump him, move on the Cass, dump her. Harsh... but might be how to get that scene. XD Might not be.

For the record I would like to state that I am not a fan of this particular system.

I want to romance them both!! Or at least give a threesome option. Qunquisitor/Cassandra/Iron Bull. I wonder if she could handle two qunari? She is a pretty tough woman. I know my inquisitor can handle both of them......mmmmmmm

Neither am I. If it turns out character X has done/is doing/wants to do something I find reprehensible, I should have the option of ending the romance and, assuming it isn't in the last moments of the game, find someone else.

I liked these moments in past games when characters would make you choose between them if you flirted with both
It felt kind of more natural... Like unless you're officially together (flirting is not officially together) with someone you can flirt with others. Now I guess it's more like "now or never"

I dunno. Honestly it sounds like it'll be the same as this system. The 'lock-in' probably occurs at a set point in the romance progression, after the initial generalised flirting phase. That's basically how Bioware have done all their romances, after all.

If he's a spy from a hostile power, why do we let him live? Has anything about this been stated?

1)He offers you the info he has collected as a Spy, and probably part of his mercs as well.
2)Depending on the race he might've not been spying on me.

That still seems like a poisonous deal if he'll continue spying on the Inquisition. The qunari would get far more out of it than I, if all he has are mooks.

We don't know if he'll Spy on us, and it's possible that We might change his stance.
Plus, you can refuse his help.

Damn it, that would mean missing content, and I hate doing that.

Because I like qunari?

Even if one doesn't, then why let Sten join the Warden? Or Zevran? Or Morrigan? Or Lelianna after she reveals being a bard?

We have a horde of Evil Dark Creaures to defeat. At least with qunari, tevinterians, crows, spies and witches one can bargain

Let's rip each other apart after we deal with the biggest problem

Because I don't know anything more about the Grey Wardens than Sten, aside from how the Joining works, which he isn't even interested in learning. Sten isn't a security threat, really, but Iron Bull is.

Me:  "You're a spy?"

IB: "Yeah."

Me: "Are you still going to kill demons while spying on me?"

IB: "Hell yeah!"

Me: "Good enough."

IB:  "Mayhem!"

*Later, Iron Bull sends a report to the Arishok about how the Inquisitor is a total bro.*

Yes, and we know what attitude the qunari have to bas who are also bros: kill them anyway but make a speech about how you respect them first.

Yes, his profile says that he gathers valuable information for the inquisition from his spy network if recruited. But it sounded continuous to me, something useful throughout the game and not a one time thing.

That would be so hilarious.

We don't actually know the details of what he offers, but frankly, if you know someone's a spy, how hard is it going to be for Leliana's people to keep tabs on exactly what he's sending to the Arishok (and even tamper with it when necessary?)

We don't even know what he would say. He could be sending less than useful information for all we know.

New faction formed: the Inquisition

Few soldiers. Main agents are a Dwarf archer, a bald Elf mage and an angry human female. Led by a *insert race and class here* with a glowing hand.

Well, you have to choose Between missing content and letting him in, with the risk of him spying at least at first. Even if you tell him ' join me and don't Spy on me' you won't be sure he won't Spy anyway.
Though it's possible that he won't Spy the inquisition by default.

Or They get killed. Though that's only in the case of an actual War. The comics shown you can form alliances with them (if you're good enough to beat them).
