Well us qunari don't need armor. We have facepaint to protect us (not me since I'm going paintless so I can admire my beauty).

I just have to get used to hearing him in game.  To me, he's just so huge that not hearing a booming deep voice when he speaks throws me off a bit.  Once I actually interact with him, my brain will quickly adapt and make it so I can't picture him speaking any other way.   I had the same issue with Fenris at first, and now I couldn't picture him talking with any other voice.

I like how they show Bull using a Reaver skill in the new trailer.

 

I think that Reaver skill he used was Devour but I'm only guessing right now.

I feel the same way with his voice as well... I like FPJ just fine, and I'm happy he is in the game, and I think he did a great job being Vega in ME. However, the voice he puts on as Iron Bull, it makes me wish there was a pitch control to deepen it.

That last video with the other two companions really put to rest my concerns about the head size, general prettiness, and voice acting. It all worked for me.

 

I've always liked the horns. Something about the shape just speaks "strength" to me.

 

But that stomach wrap/armour... Now I really want to know what is there and why there is no armour above it...

Yup same, and omg he is never putting on proper armor ever again. those pecs need to breath and I am all about the fresh air! I love the outfit we saw in the video and was hoping we would get armor like that for him in the game. I loved the team yolo video, that is my team right there. With a sarcastic inq it will be a riot that playthrough! lol

I don't know, watching the new video and seeing the recent screen shot they gave us made me more anxious about his proportions. His tiny head just bugs the living crap out of me. I draw realism, so I'm always overthinking anatomy and he obvious scale difference between his body and head is awful. I can't bring myself to romance him anymore because it just made him seem so unattractive to me...

I'll totally use him in my party still because he seems so awesome and fun, but man, I just cannot get over why they would make that design decision. I know they wanted to make characters that looked real and had flaws but holy moley, his head is half the size it ought to be.

I'm not sure if people here have noticed but the discussion of IB's missing/not-missing fingers is quite strong, especially at tumblr

I just wanted to say that the devs didn't lie or make a mistake. Iron Bull doesn't miss fingers, he, eh, misses tiptoes of two fingers, it seems. Not whole fingers. Just small bits, not even halves

So missing fingers wouldn't be a correct phrase? More like, missing tiptoes

I'm pretty sure I remember you coming in here and saying almost exactly this same thing before, what are you looking for, agreement? This is his fan thread, the people who post in here regularly like Bull. I'm sure there's still that thread about his head in Feedback you can go complain in.

Yeah, I saw a screencap of his hand from the trailer, it definitely looks that way. Just a fingertip or two missing. With that and his missing eye, it makes me wonder if he's gone through some kind of torture from an enemy group or something.
