I hope both the s/s LI's are able to have a happy ending without having to sacrifice something. :/ But it does really seem like it's applying to Dorian.
How do we know that this guy romanced Dorian and not Josephine or Cassandra? Wouldn't they also be available to male Inquisitors? Did he specifically say he was rolling a gay character.
Also, re the Bull scene:
Friendship / rivalry would have worked better if it wasn't so all or nothing. Romancing Fenris was hard because I disagreed with him about mages, but we agreed on slaves and I was generally nice to him. So I would gain rivalry points that would effectively be cancelled out making progressing in either direction really difficult. There wasn't a lot of room for nuance.

Yeah, with him and some other characters I pretty much would always stay on the neutral area of the friendship scale because we would agree then disagree, and so on. Had to meta-game just to be a friend or rival. x(

It's like looking at a mirror of my own playthrough, hahaha. Same problem. 
Iron Bull seems so chill that it's hard to see him get worked up about our choices enough to leave the group, or romance.

As for this danger of ending romance I wouldn't be so afraid. I'm sure that this applies to every LI and even every companion. If we make them upset, angry and sad obviously they will leave us

Considering they also have their own goals, I'm pretty sure those pretty bastards can make us upset just as well. On their own.

I'm so amused at the bitter craps who are hating on that video, apparently a company's writing is now defined by sexual scenes.. I'm honestly so amused I want moar.
Eh, I can see how it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I don't think there's anything wrong with the writing because I'm sure that's exactly what they intended with that scene. We've been made aware of Bull's personality and that was fitting, lol.
I don't think IB's lines were bad at all - it seemed entirely in character, and he was obviously laying on the humor.
I'd take Garrus-style authentic, sometimes awkward humor over played-straight "but the priiiiize" schlock any day of the week.

What I'm wondering is if we can ask Bull about qunari relationships and sex without triggering a romance with him. I'm curious! And not interested! Just curious! 
I would think that talking to him about the Qunari is apart of normal "getting to know you" conversation.
