I get a glimpse what was (supposedly) meant to be that "healing" thing watching the stream yesterday, and if that's what the reviewer was talking about, it's not that bad or creepy. You can also say it's one of qunari's thing even. 
It's true some of the folks might find it distirbing, but I laughed my ass off instead because it also involved humor.
I think I remember reading an article at the beginning of inquisition's production about a female dev considering one of the romances rape so they changed it. I'm getting the feeling it was this one because the inquisitor has a few opportunities to say no, and the bull would be pretty intimidating if the scene weren't so hilarious.

I think the scene a female dev had a problem with involved the Fade, which likely means it was apart of Solas' romance arc.

Yeah, I got the impression from that article that there was a scene where Solas walked into the PC's dreams or something and they had sex, which would be pretty uncomfortable unless the player knew it would happen and consented before.

No this was from 2012, before solas was a romance option, I just looked it up on Kotaku, "You Can Thank Women For Dragon Age 3's Lack of Creepy Sex Plot". It might not have even been one of the romance options, but so far Iron bull's scene seems the closest to it. I've been wondering since then what scene they were talking about

Sounds like IB might have been the guilty party in the "creepy sex" article. Huh. I know people are touchy about consent - I remember complaints regarding Fenris pushing you against the wall in DA2, etc - but Iron Bull asked three damn times so I hope that's sorted out.
