Are you talking about the goat guy? Because for some reason no matter what choice I picked I got disapproval, but I went with the banishment one because it got the least amount of disapproval... weird.

Not saying IB is a bad character but all the talks about this dom-sub kind of made me anxious about my second walkthrough in which I planned to romance him with my second Adaar. Maybe she'll stick to Sera. They both are the quirkiest 

 

Bull sets up rules not because he wants to turn inquisitor into a slave, but because he doesn't want to hurt the relationship. The base of a healthy relationship always starts with honesty and mutual consent. If that cannot be done, perhaps he/she isn't the right person, which is perfectly fine.

 

To me, it's a blessing that someone is able to be honest with me and willing to help me think "less". The less I have to think, the more I can feel; I prefer feeling over thinking in tender moments.

 

That's the charm of Iron Bull, he's mindful and practical, honest and kinky. And of course, cute.

I enjoy the promotion of healthy sub/dom relationships.

 

Alas, such relationship is often misunderstood. Ignorance leads people to believe that dom/sub is abusive and humiliating, which is far from true.

 

A lot of people believe that a relationship must be equal on all facets. That may work on sci-fi clones, but in real life people have different qualities, points of view, strength and weaknesses. A fruitful relationship is like two puzzle pieces putting together, compatibility is where it will triumph, and some times one is willing to give up a few pounds of ego to make it work. Why not?

 

Besides, in a sub/dom relationship, sub is actually the one in charge. He/she letting dom takes over because one wants to, not because one was forced to do so. Iron Bull didn't take, he negotiated, which indicates he's mature and considerate, no one should mistaken him as another abuser.

Well I recruited bull a few minutes ago. And darn it, I dunno if to love him or hate him. Every time he talks all I hear is Kanan from Star Wars Rebels. That's so cool and not at the same time. Also, I have Cassandra/Blackwall as a tank already. :/

I'm kind of worried that I won't be able to romance Bull,

I've just finished the main mission at Crestwood and theres still no options to speak to Bull about anything, whereas I've been able to have cutscenes or conversations with every other companion and advisor. I've done all the flirt options possible with him but I'm worried that I still won't be able to start the romance. I haven't flirted with anyone else except Cullen (before I got Bull) and Dorian (once during his personal quest in the Redcliffe tavern) and that's it.

 

Does anyone know how I can start it?

Just give it some time and try to get his approval up... I also had a time where he had no dialogue choices, but after getting the dragonslayer cutscene it all started up again.

Get his approval up even higher; he seems to be more difficult to trigger conversations with. (maybe not, since we can't see the approval meter) When in doubt, kill a dragon with him in the party. If that doesn't work... kill more dragons?

For anyone else that has completed his romance far enough for the achievement to unlock, did anyone else have a cutscene issue?

When you're on the bed talking and chatting about safe words, and love, etc, does the screen go randomly black and red throughout for anyone else or is it just mine being weird? Like it will randomly cut between the proper cut scene then to red/black and back again repeatedly.

After watching Bull's romance playout on YouTube, I think his sexual interaction with the player character borderlines on bestiality. While I think the scene is rather entertaining, I also got sick of the sex with a part animal logic. I think it’s disgusting.

 

BioWare went past homosexuality and straight into animal sex.

 

It is gross, immoral, and disgusting.

 

While I think this game should be praised for a sense of diversity, I think the bestiality message behind Bull’s character gets it tossed in the trash.

 

Hetrosexual Relations = Perfectly Fine

Homosexual Relations = Perfectly Fine

Transexual Relations = Perfectly Fine

 

Bestiality Relations (having sex with half a bull) = Crosses the moral line.

 

I don't care how people rationalize the sex scene with Bull. it is disgusting.
