Yes. As far as the main choice goes, you can pick either one and he'll give you approval. His personal quest that needs to be done to start his romance, is that

-Grumblegrumble- Stay away from my Bull, Dorian :< -grumblegrumble-
But srsly, I plan on romancing Dorian on my second playthrough, so it'll be awhile before I see that!

Aw yeah Dorian/Bull is awesome, I'll be able to experience it this new playthrough. From what I've seen of it though I don't think it's any better than Bull's romance, just as cute. :3 If only I experienced more banters during my playthrough with his romance... I never got to hear any exclusive to romancing him because I never got many banters at all.

Thanks! One more bothersome question though. I get Demands of Qun by getting Bull's approval up, right? Or does it happen automatically as the main quest is progressed?
Questions are great, no problem!
To be honest though, I'm not exactly sure what "activates" his personal quest though, whether its one or the other. I got it fairly early on in the game, and his approval was always high, so I'm not sure which triggered it unfortunately ;( Sorry I couldn't be more help!

You can't get it until you get Skyhold and his approval up. He may need more than other people, or that might just be my perception. Either way, there are ways to grind for his approval. (Dragons, Venatori)
Oh, heads up, Blackwall's the same way, but his quest unlocks after a much later quest, so I wasn't expecting it. Had to get his approval up with his fetch quest, ultimately. (I don't think Vivienne's like that, because I got her quest immediately and she absolutely hated me for quite a while before becoming neutral)

Crestwood and Hinterlands are two low-level dragons (12/13, I believe). The Crestwood dragon doesn't have any adds and you can save much closer to when you initiate the fight, so that might be better. If you're not in a hurry. (and this might be better for pacing) you can wait until you're a few levels higher than they are. After you kill a dragon with Bull in the party, you get approval and another scene when you talk to him at Skyhold, where you can boost his approval even further. If you want to wait for Venatori, they're level 16-ish, I think. Probably not as hard to kill as dragons if you're underleveled, though...
I'm level 9...wish me luck X) *runs of into the darkness*
Good luck! Let us know how it goes haha.
Well, I made progress
Finished the Adamant Fortress quest and made the decision that earned me "great approval." So Bull decided to start speaking to me again. I got one flirt line... was pretty ooc for my character, but unless you're playing a bi female character, beggars can't be choosers in this darn game lol Nothing really happened after that cut scene though...
I thought, there has to be more, so I talked to him some more, and asked him about Seheron. He blabbed on a bit, there were no more flirt options for me, and that was that.
So I'm sort of, huh, right now *scratches chin* I'm tired, so I turned the game off. But I was hoping his personal quest would pop up at some point because that's supposed to be where you can trigger a romance, right? Tbh I've never played a game upon release and it's very weird not to have a wiki to consult
Very anxiety-inducing.

It also helps to talk to Krem and do some of The Charger's missions on the War Table, if you haven't done that yet! But yeah, it sounds like maybe you need to get his approval up more. Maybe take him to the Western Approach and kill a bunch of Vints with him in your party? That should help a bit!

I did that... spent at least 4-5 hours on that darn map lol And when I talk to Krem it's still the same two questions that I've already asked him... I think they're "Tell me about the Chargers" and "Tell me about Iron Bull." He just repeats the same stuff.
Gonna kill a dragon next. Why the heck not lol
EDIT: There are Chargers missions?! I've not seen those!

Yeah, if you talk to Krem, there should be a dialogue option that says something like, "What can the Chargers do?" or "How can I use the Chargers?" or something like that, and every once in awhile, usually after main story missions, he'll tell you someway you can use them, and then a War Table mission will pop up on the table and that helps a bit with Bull too I believe! But yes, killing a dragon with Bull is another important part too ;P

Okay, yes, I've seen that question. I'll ask him tomorrow, then check the war table map. Sounds easier than killing a dragon
GDI for a supposed "bed-hopper" Bull sure does play hard to get *grumble*
Their first kiss better be pretty f***ing super cute

Dragons are hard :'(
There, there -pats-
Yeah, they are pretty much jerks.

Ohh, I think I have a couple interesting question for you guys! Not sure if this has been asked before, but it could be a fun little exercise.
1.) If you could add in a scene to the Iron Bull romance that you think would help improve it in any way, what would want that scene to be about?
2.) Assuming there will be an expansion-like DLC for Inquisition and it includes further romance content, what would you want to see for post-game romance content? Keep in mind to hide spoilers!
Dorian? Who is he? I don't have a Dorian in my game so that will NEVER happen in my game. There is this.....thing in my party with this ugly moustache however but I told him I haven't decided if I wanted to crush his skull yet.
Aw, but Dorian is so sweet though! xD

Good questions!
1. I would add in a scene somewhere in the middle of the romance where we can talk more about him and his past. One thing I really wish happened more was him talking about himself. It happens a little but... not enough. I think a scene like that would make the romance flow better as well, since it's basically like a couple funny/lighthearted scenes then bam, a couple really intense romantic scenes. A deep heart to heart talk would have been perfect in between.
2. Just that! ^
Is there something you have to do to get the romance to actually start? I flirted with him when I could and did all his quests I was given as well as got to know his chargers, but, the romance never really happened.
